I woke up when my alarm clock went off. I hit the snooze button and stretched. Slowly, I climbed out of bed. Elena was already up. As usual.
I walked to my closet. I pulled out a pink dress and my black combat boots. After I dressed, I brushed my hair and teeth. I sighed as I looked in the mirror. A sad little girl stared back at me.I grabbed my bag and walked downstairs.
Jenna was toasting waffles. I grabbed one and began to eat it.
"Morning, Aunt Jenna," I said.
"Good morning, Suzie. I'm late for work. I've got to run."
I nodded and Jenna left. Elena walked downstairs and began to talk about how I should act. I acted as if I was listening to her boring lecture. Finally, the bus arrived. Elena walked to school but I rode the bus. I said goodbye to Elena and ran to the school bus. It was back to prison. AKA: School.
