Elena's POV
I woke up at two in the afternoon. Sitting up in my bed, I stretched. I noticed a note on my bed.
"Its from Stefan Salvatore?" Aunt Jenna said questioningly.
I nodded and opened the letter. I smiled when I saw how formal it was.
Dear Elena,
Please don't think I'm a stalker. I just wanted to ask you something important. For the safety of you and your sister, please stay away from Jared. He is a threat to everyone around him. That's why I dragged him away from school yesterday. Please.
Stefan Salvatore
I placed the letter on my bed and took a deep breath. I hurried to pull on a tee and shorts. After pulling on my Keds, I ran outside to my car and drove to the Salvatore Boarding House. Thats where Suzie said she was meeting Jared. Once there, I stepped out of my car and ran to the front door and rang the door bell. Stefan answered.
"You got my letter," He asked.
I was out of breath, so I settled for nodding. Stefan smiled a crooked grin and let me in. I saw Suzie argueing with Damon. When she saw me, she relaxed. That's when Jared apeared. He looked at me and smiled. I gasped. He had fangs. Stefan and Damon tried to stop him but he pushed past them. To me. That's all I remember before everything went black.
