Tavia's POV
She was excited about the baby but she was also bummed because how was she gonna be a model with a baby? "Damn," she said to herself. She was in a dilemma. She had an interview for a job later on that day. She would be sewing clothes for tv stars if she got the job. She loved designing and creating clothes ALMOST as much as she loved modeling. She worried if they would hire a pregnant lady. She dressed, brushed her teeth and got ready for her interview, then left. It was touch and go for a while....she looked the interviewer right in the eye and says "I think you should know upfront that I'm with child," she said. "1 month exactly," she continued. The interviewer was a little reluctant, but once she had seen Tavia's portfolio, she was floored. "Honey we usually don't hire newly pregnant ladies, but you have God-given talent, we need you and your flare for fashion," she added. So Tavia was hired. She was thrilled, thanked the woman and left...."Now I gotta get home and call my baby and tell him that I'm having his baby," she said beaming to herself.

Buffy's POV
Buff is in his studio at his house making some music and planning for collaborations with his homies on some new projects when his phone rang. "Hello?" he answered. "Hey baby," came Tavia's little nervous voice through the phone. Buffy softened and smiled at the sound of her voice. "Well hey, beautiful," he said. "What is it, baby, why you sound like that?"he asked. Tavia took a deep breath and said "Baby we gotta talk face to face," she said, her voice cracking. His stomach flipped and his heart started pounding as he was nervous but he said, "OK baby bet, I'll be right over there in a few," he said.

Tavia's POV
She sat anxiously in a pair of sweats and an oversized t shirt, waiting for Buffy to get there. Next thing she knew he was knocking on her door and she jumped up without hesitation and swung the door open. She flung her arms around him and said "Baby, baby, baby, you gon have to sit down for this." She led him into the living room and they sat down, and she broke the news. "Buff, I'm pregnant," she told him. First his face went blank, then he broke out in a smile. He then got up and swooped her up off the ground and spun her round and round, then put her down gently. "Awwww is my baby having a baby?"
he teased in a sweet voice, stroking her belly. She smiled really big saying, "Yes baby, we're officially gonna be mommy and daddy."

Buffy's POV
"Damn I can't believe I'm gonna be a daddy," he beamed. He pulled Tavia into his arms and held her, kissing her hair. "You know what, I don't even want you standing up," he picked her up and started carrying her towards the couch. "Baby I'm fine," she insisted. "I know," he said."But I don't want you tiring yourself out, you got my baby now," he said smiling and winking at her. Tavia's face suddenly went blank.

Tavia's POV
"Uh oh..." Tavia thought to herself. Buffy studied her. "Why you looking like that?" he asked. She took another deep breath and hesitated...."Baby I took a job sewing clothes and I think I'm gonna love it," she smiled nervously. She watched as Buffy's face changed...the sweet cheerful baby faced smile that had won her heart had left. He looked sad and a little angry at the same time. "Ohhhhh no you AIN'T," he said, then he paused, "Look baby, I didn't mean to come off on you like that, I just don't want you risking your health or the baby's," he told her. It took them going back and forth a little to convince her to back out of the whole thing for the baby's sake. She knew she needed to dial it back. She looked at the father of her baby. "What we gonna do about money?" she paused."I was just skyrocketing as a model," she said on the verge of tears. Buffy gently turned her chin up so she could face him. "Baby I got us, I'ma take care of everything until you can get back on your feet again," he promised her. She smiled feeling like she was on cloud nine...how did she get so lucky? 🥰🥰🥰🥰
