Buffy's POV
Well it was finally Melody's first birthday and he was not okay. His baby girls were getting big on him so fast. He thought about how in the future he would no longer be able to hold and cuddle them. The thought made him almost misty eyed. He couldn't help it. He was a big softy when it came to his babies and his wife. "Hey baby," Tavia's voice shattered his thoughts. "You okay?" she asked. Buffy smiled. "Yeah baby, I'm just thinking about how the past few years been the best years of my life," he answered. Tavia smiled. "I know ," she smiled sitting in his lap. She looked at him thoughtfully. "Why you look sad baby?" He smiled and bounced her briefly on his lap as she giggled. "Nothin, baby I'm just thinking," he said. "My babies are getting so big so fast..." he trailed off then. Tavia smiled and hugged him. "I knowwwww, I can't believe she turning one....seems like yesterday I was in the hospital and just had her," she said wistfully with a loving look in her eyes. Buffy glanced down at her soft stretch marked belly that poked from beneath her t shirt and smiled as he playfully rubbed it. "Yeah I know," he said softly. Tavia then poked her lips out. " l still gotta get my body back.." she pouted. "Nahhh I like you like this," said Buffy squeezing her. "You feel all squishy and soft," he said kissing her. Tavia smiled. Her man always managed to make her feel beautiful even if she didn't see it herself at times. Anyway since it was Melody's first birthday they all went on a family outing. They took her and Rosie to Chuck E Cheese's and soon as they got there, Tavia got into the ball pit with her baby girls. She looked at Buffy and said, "Baby why don't you get in with us?" He kinda waved her off smiling. "Nahhh," he chuckled. She then smiled mischievously and pulled him in, catching him off guard while his baby girls giggled. He laughed. "I'ma get you girl," he said throwing balls at her. Rosie made sure to hold her baby sister close while playing in the ball pit. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their outing. While the girls played, Buffy smiled mischievously and pulled Tavia close. He tried to steal a kiss when the babies weren't looking but then he heard them giggling. Rosie was giggling and pointing at her mommy and daddy. "See Melody, I knew they was gonna play kissy face, " she giggled then squeezed her baby sister. Then later on they all sang happy birthday to baby Melody and had some cake. Suddenly as they were all eating their cake, Buffy smiled mischievously and playfully smeared a little cake icing on Rosie's nose. "Daddyyy!!" she whined. "Why you do that forrrr?" She pouted with her little arms crossed. "You thought I forgot about that grown little comment you made earlier miss missy, talkin' bout some kissy face again." Buffy said laughing and tickling her. Rosie then smiled a mischievous smile like her daddy. "Well in that case...," she giggled smearing icing in her daddy's face. "Take that, daddy!!" she laughed. Buffy laughed wiping icing off his face. "Oh yeah?" He then picked the little girl up. "Well you take THIS," he laughed and kissed her until she giggled and protested. Tavia laughed wildly and Melody was giggling at her daddy and big sis. Tavia clapped her hands. "Okay children play time is over," she joked. Buffy looked at her smiling. He scooped up some icing with his fingers and started towards her. "Girl stay outta this before I get you too," he laughed. She smirked and held the baby tighter in her arms. "Uh-uh don't you get no icing on my baby," she giggled.
