I woke up the next morning to the sound of my alarm. I then felt around and noticed I wasn't on the couch anymore. I was in my bed. Which btw was empty. Sadly.

Today is Monday. I hate Mondays even tho I'm not in school anymore hating  Mondays just became a natural feeling to me.  Well I don't have to work at the diner today I'm off. ( I didn't want to be but everyone at work made me said I "work to hard" whatever the fuck tht means). I don't work at the strip club today only Wednesday -Saturday.

I feel like I have something to do today but I don't know what.

I have a new job at Champs (shoe store)  and I start today at 2.  I checked the clock and it was 12:46. Oh thank Jesus.

I climbed out of bed to go wake up D and get her ready. But when I went into her room she wasn't there. I started panicking and looking everywhere. But I stopped when I saw D in the kitchen dancing with Ka'jai.

Hold up. Pause. December. Kitchen. Dancing. With Ka'jai. What?

I started to say something but stopped and leaned against the door opening watching them.

"Baby won't yo Comee my waaaay" J sang into the whip spoon thing then he pointed it at D for her to sing.

"Baby won u come ma wayyy" December sang

"All I got to do is put my mind to this ish cancel out my ex I put a line through that snitch" he was about to sing the next verse but I cut in and took the whip spoon thing and sang with them

"I like all my s' with two lines through them ish". J looked surprised and then he smiled down at me.

"Good morning Mufasa" he said running his hands through my mess of curls.

"Shut up and morning" I shooed his hand away.

I looked at the table and saw sausages, bacon, eggs, grits, pancakes, fruit an orange juice.

"You can cook oh my gawd I gotta keep you around papi" I said grabbing a piece of bacon.

"Ahh so you got jokes u see for your information lil girl I am very handy in the kitchen it's one of the many places I'm skilled in. Bedroom being first of coarse." He winked and smirked.

"Yea whatever I see the IHOP bag in the garbage so cross that off your list of places your skilled in" I laughed

"Whatever I made the fruit soooo. Anyway where my hug at ma" he opened his arms wide. I opened my arms but when I got close enough I ducked under his arms towards my babygirl.

"Hi Mommy's princess watcha doin baby" I said lifting her up and snuggling into her.

"Wow your man can't get no love now wow. " he said lowering his arms and shaking his head

" You are not my man. Ain't nobody want your ugly behind " I told him putting December back in her high chair. He just looked at me and grabbed his chest in hurt and turned his back towards me.

I laughed and hugged him from behind, wrapping my arms around his torso tightly.

"No no I'm apparently not your nigga don't hug me." He tried getting my arms untangled from him but I got a strong grip.
