"My walk my talk the way I dress it's not my fault so please don't trip" I sung into my hairbrush in front of my bathroom mirror

It's Sunday and it's time to go to work.

Anyway I have the worst headache in the world and I'm tired but ya bitch still got money to make. I gotta get this paper one way or another.

It's 6 and I gotta be at work by 7. I work at Pink Ladies diner by the way. It's this small little diner down the street and I love it.

I quickly looked in my full length mirror and to check out my outfit.

Faded blue skinny jeans and a nice white blouse with ruffles and some silver sandals. Cute and simple.

I grabbed my phone off the charger and and my purse and walked downstairs.

I grabbed a green apple on my out.
(I only like green apples Idek why 😂)

If you're wondering where D is she's at Torrin's house. Her and Anthony found they're way to her house safely.

It took about 10 minutes to walk down to Pink Ladies.

I walked in to the smell of fresh bread and coffee. Mnm it smells like a home.

" Good Morning Mama Betty" I waved to the elderly women behind the counter. She owned the place. She was a short little plump lady with her dark chocolate skin and her long grey hair pulled into a bun. She looked like a loving grandma.

I said LOOKED.

" ain't nothing good about this morning Child. My back acting up, I'm tired and I gotta wake up early just to see the same old snot nosed kids thinking they as cool as ice. With there saggy pants and they're skirts to high. Got ass showing out the back. mm mm mm this why y'all pregnant." She yelled ranting away like always.

" It's ok Mana Betty retirements around the corner" I laughed giving her a kiss on the cheek and putting my apron on, with my notebook and pen.

"Mmmhm and why are you all happy ms. Sunshine. Proably got that good dick last night didn't ya. You get that good dick one time and it make ya sit down and rethink ya life. Next thing you know you're all smiles and laughs lookin like a damn cheerleader from hell Shake my head" she said giving me the eye.

"Oh My god Betty no I didn't get the dick last night all I said was good morning 😂" I laughed at her

"Mmmhm and I'm Michelle Obama, go flip the closed sign on the door now child"

I did as told while still laughing, this why I love this place.

Only half an hour more till my shift is over. Yes it's been a long day. But I'll make it.

Business was a little slow so I took a break and sat down with a cup of coffee and a croissant. Suddenly my phone buzzed saying I got a text message.

"Alright now child now if he ask you do you want the sausage you say you're a vegetarian " she said while sweeping the floors

"Alright Ma'am I'll do that" I laughed while kissing her cheek an putting my apron back on my hook

I feel like tonight goin be a cool chill night.
