Thickums.
Hey little boy I know you not walking on my floor with them muddy ass shoes." I scolded him.
"Sorry mama. Hey mama you know where Kyaire is?" He asked taking his shoes off and holding them in his hand.
"He upstairs doing something educational. Why" I questioned chopping up the vegetables.
"Ugh. Mommy why you let him be so boring?" He complained sitting down and twisting his little curls around his finger.
"Kymani leave your brother alone. If he wants to watch the discovery channel instead of Cartoon Network then let him. If he rather read then go outside then let him." I explained.
"Ughhhh. He's no fun mommy. Yesterday I was cleaning my sneakers in the bathroom and he gave me a 60 hour speech on germs and stuff."
"That's sounds like him. Anyway go get washed up dinners almost ready." I showed him off.
He jumped down from the stool and ran upstairs.
Kids.
My name is Kymia Alexis Luve. I'm 22 and the mother of two beautiful 6 year old twin boys, Kymani and Kyaire. Yes I had my kids at 16, if you wish to judge be gone peasant.
My boys are the love of my life and the only men in my life. The daddy is looooooooooong gone. The second he found out o was pregnant the same old thing.
"Its not mine. I wrapped up. Those not my kids. I'm not supporting shit. I wanna test. Let's go on Maury." And all that bullshit.
Shit ion care. I'm a Atlanta born and raised bitch. I was taught to be independent and to never depend on a man.
Those might be the only smart things to ever exit my parents mouths.
Anyway back to the present.
"Boysssss come one down." I yelled placing the dishes in the counter.
I made fried chicken, biscuits, sweet potatos, collard greens, and fresh sweet tea. Oh and hush puppies.
Yup ya girl be fuckin it up in the kitchen.
I heard footsteps run down the stairs and my boys came in and sat down at the table.
"Ok hold hands and say grace" I bowed my head and held there hands.
We said our silent prayer and said amen together.
I made there plates and served them.
