Three new guests

Sams POV

They r coming now. I'm scared. What if her parents hate me? what if my family hates her?

I hear a knock on our door. I rush to get it and am greeted with three cheerful hellos. Alexis rushes to the door Luke close behind.

"Hello" says Alexis

"We have four special guests tonight" I say

Luke steps forward

"I think he means me my lady"

Melanie gasps

"Omg" she squeals

Her mothers mouth drops open

"Luke Hemmings" she stammers

"Pleasure" he says while shaking their hands

"Please come inside" mom says as she enters the living room

Everyone enters and we all sit in the living room.

"Would you like any help in the kitchen, Jane?" asks Lilly (Melanie's mom)

"Oh no I'm fine" mom calls from the kitchen

We all talk and talk. Melanie sits on the couch beside me with Luke beside her her parents across from us on the love seat and Alexis in the chair.

"So Alexis how far along are you" Lilly asks

"The baby's due anyday now" she replies

"Well isnt that exciting Sam" asks joe

"Yes I'm really excited to be an uncle"

"Well that's good Hun" Lilly says

"So Luke why exactly are you here" asks joe

"I've seen a video on youtube of Alexis singing and it was amazing so me and the boys decided to come and see her" Luke replied

"Where are the boys" asks Melanie

"At our little house here in LA"

"Why aren't you with them?" asks Lilly

"Well because I'm now madly in love with Alexis and would rather spend time with her than three stinky guys"

My jaw drops. Did he just say he loved my sister?

"Luke..." Alexis says

"After the baby's born I'm planning on taking her to Paris"

"Oh that sounds interesting" says Lilly

I stop paying attention and look at Lilly. I grab her hand absentmindedly. She looks up at me as well. Our eyes connect and then I realize all the people are heading into the kitchen. This is my chance. I lean in and feel my lips press up against Melanie's. she pulls away quickly but then comes back.

"Melanie?" I ask after we are done our kiss

"Yes?"

"I love you"

"I-I'm sorry I r-really like y-you but I don't know if I l-l-love y-you"

"I wasn't expecting you to say it back babygirl I know it's really soon"

"We should go eat" says Mel

"Ok sure"

I played it off like it was cool but really my heart was crushed.

We all ate dinner and desert and talked and laughed until Melanie's family had to leave.

After they leave I walk upstairs and crawl into my bed. I am about to close my eyes when...
