Tasha and Donald went into the house. Donald carries Tasha inside the house while Taelyn and Leo get the bags.
"Welcome to our new home, Mrs. Davenport!" Tasha smiled.
"Why, thank you. Mr. Davenport." Donalds said.
Leo and Taelyn walk into Tasha and Donald kissing. Taelyn feeling disgusted, rolls her eyes and says, "We get it. You got married. It's getting old!"
Leo dropped his bag and looked around, shocked. "You got this big house just for inventing things?"
"Mm-hmm." Donald nodded.
Taelyn shrugged, looking around. This house was so fancy and it had many technological advances. She smiled, high-fiving Tasha. "Way to go, Tasha. That's a husband."
Leo walks over to the monitor, confused. "What the heck is that?" she snapped, her neck craning to see what Leo had found.
"Oh, uh...that is my latest creation. Davenport Industries first completely interactive 3-D TV." Donald said.
Taelyn is interested in the TV when it is turned on.
Beeping, humming.
Organ plays, "Charge!"
The crack of the bat hitting the ball, the crowd cheering!
"Watch out for the beam, Taelyn!" Leo suddenly said. Taelyn and Leo screamed as Leo pushed Taelyn down. Taelyn looked terrified and glanced around.
"Mom, I think the little voice is back inside my head again!" Leo freaked out.
Taelyn scoffed, "When did the voices ever leave?"
"No, this is Eddy," Donald said. Then he walked over to the wall and nodded. "He's my smart home system. Eddy, this is my new stepson, Leo, and his friend Taelyn. Remember, I told you that Leo, Taelyn, and Tasha are moving in today?"
"Hey, welcome. Everything here is mine." Eddy claimed. The kids looked at each other and shrugged. Taelyn agreed that everything felt surreal, like a dream coming to life. Even as it unfolded, she still couldn't believe it.
"Uh, Leo, Taelyn, why do you go check out your new rooms? Just go straight down that hallway, and when you see a room with video games and the action figures and the 50-foot screen TV..." Leo's face lit up. Finally, he was gonna have some fun. "...keep walking, that's mine," Taelyn smirked, watching Leo's face going down.
Taelyn and Leo grabbed the bags and strolled into the hallway. "Did we move in with a man-child or a billionaire?"
Leo looked around and shrugged. "We've been walking forever. Let's get some ice cream."
