CHAPTER 4

SOPHIE.

       "Yet??!! What the fuck do you mean,we are not displaying any affec-"I said as I was cut off because he was leaning closer to me. His breath fell on my bare skin and he put his arm around my neck moving me closer to him,his lips moved closer and I couldn't push him. Did he just-

       Oh my God, something's wrong with me,but seriously he did not just do that.
      "... seems to me like you were expecting something else,were you"he taunts with a cocked eyebrow.
     "...not cool,dude...and no I was not expecting something else from a guy I barely know his name"I tell him with a flat tone.
       " I'm sorry,I was trying to take this leaf away from your head, although a part of me wants to kiss you"he says sincerely with a flirty smile.
     I was not mad at him but actually myself for expressing my feelings,but, why'd he act as though he wanted to kiss me. "Travis Miles Keller"he says to me with a smile.
     I looked at him confused as to why he was telling me his name now.
     "Umm,you said...you barely know my name,so... I told you my name,what's your's"he says while scratching the back of his head awkwardly and embarrassingly.
     "Soph-" I was cut off as i was trying to introduce myself by my teacher Ms. Norman. "Alright class,we have two new students in the class,please stand up to introduce yourselves"she says as soon as the bell rang indicating the start of the class.
      I wonder why we all came to class early even Avery, might be the hurricane that happened in Texas, because damn I'm talking to someone new, that hurricane be causing weird things.
       They were both sitting close to me,so as they saw the hot new bad boy beside me and a cute girl,they started to get jealous and envious of nothing,idiotic people.
     "Autumn Ayeni"she says with a smile as the boys check her out as she sits down, i see Avery give her a glance. She's probably going to ask her to join the cheerleader and their senseless gang.
      I saw her cast me a nasty glare at me to which i just gave her a pointed look. I don't usually react to her taunts even if it's not that big of a reaction i just displayed. She looked shocked. I might try this reaction thing very well.
     "I go by the name Travis Keller"he said with that bad boy smirk which got me rolling my eyes.
      "Well, I'm Ms. Norman. Welcome to Hamilton Prep.Washington DC Ms. Autumn and Mr. Keller, it's an honor for us to have you here"said Ms
Norman with a sweet smile but she was mostly looking at Travis,okay,i get it he's cute and all but does she have to look at him like that.
       I almost laugh at the expression on Autumn's face,the way she looked at Ms. Norman when she said it's an honor to have TK here but Autumn, I'm starting to doubt that now.
   It's like i know this cutie but I doubt it. Okay,i don't doubt, my mom's been talking about some new Keller kid that's going to come back from somewhere. Besides the fact that i know a Keller family that i go to after school everyday.
     I heard Ms. Norman try to correct her earlier statement about how it's an honor to have TK here.
    "... and you too Autumn, it's an honor to have you too here. I mean you both....you know what i mean. Moving on,did any of you read further on electrochemistry"asked Ms.Norman.
    Many groans were heard through out the classroom,i think most of the class is dumb enough to still groan over an assignment,i didn't do the assignment either but she's always going to call the brightest student in chemistry to answer the question and give us a summary of what she read, making things easier for both the students and teacher,its a win-win.
      My trail of thought was interrupted by the very same person who I'm trying to think of where I know him from,TK.
    "I'm taking you didn't read further on electrochemistry"he said with a knowing look on his face.
     "Nope,but she's just going to make the brightest student in chemistry answer the question"i said as i watch the whole scene unfold before me and i was right.
     "...and who's that"he probed further. "Isabella, that's her,if you meet with her don't call her by her full name"i told him as I watch her give a detailed summary about the topic.
    "Okay, thanks for the warning. I'll just call her Isa"he said with a boyish smile.
    "My pleasure"i said with a smile. "You know you seem like an introvert from a distance, you're not really one,are you?"he asked attentively.
    "I just like being left alone, silence is relaxing for me, people think I'm just too introverted" i tell him.
   "I find silence mature but getting to know you,i don't think silence is mature anymore"he said with a smile.
     "Thanks for telling me silence is maturity"i say as i try to stifle my laughter,good thing the whole class is clapping for Izzy.
     "Who's that guy,he keeps looking at you with surprise at the same time glaring at me"he says and i look at where he's facing,i see the person look away immediately.
      "That's Daniel,my best friend. I don't usually talk to people that much that's why he seems surprised"i tell him as i look away from him.
      "....what about the fact that he's glaring at me"he says to me.
     "... that's for you to figure out, he's not glaring at me,is he? Also,why are there bodyguards at the entrance of the class"i say which catches Autumn's attention.
    "You do know that the...."she was saying before she was cut off by TK, aww now I'll never know why the bodyguards are here. I saw TK glare at Autumn stealthily. Okay,now that's sus.
      "You seem mysterious"he tells me. That's a different level of WHAT!!!
"Me or you. Wait,is that why you cane to sit with me"i ask him.
    "I sat with you because of different reasons,i like the back seat, there's a mysterious pretty girl there and the other reasons will stay unsaid"he tell me.
    "Okay "i tell him. "Why'd you stop talking"he asks me confused and hurt?. "TK,class is over"i tell him.
"TK?"he asks with a grin as we get out of the class. I rest on the wall waiting for Autumn, Daniel must not be late to his next class so he left early.
     "Your initials, Travis Keller"i tell him as i collect his timetable. We have every single class together.
     "We're waiting for the other new student, Autumn right?"he asks me as he checks my timetable.
    "Yeah, I'm supposed to be her tour. Who's your tour"i ask him. "We have every class together and you're my tour"he tells me.
      "No I'm not, Principal Meyers placed me with Autumn, who'd she place you with"i ask him.
     "She told me in her office that there's this girl not wearing her uniform, she's my tour"he tells me.
     "Ok,that points to me"i tell him as Autumn comes out of the class.
    "I thought you forgot about me,you know with all the talking"she says with a smirk.
     "Almost,now let's go, where's your locker"i ask them both.
      "87"says TK. "58"says Autumn. "Uh, why's your locker next to mine and why do we have every single class to together"i say as we walk to Autumn's locker and move to TK's locker where Principal Meyers meets us.
     "What is Meyers up to"i say in frustration. "That's Principal Meyers to you Ms.Sophie" Principal Meyers says as she appears behind us.
    "Aye Aye, Principal"i say as i mock salute her.
    "Also Sophie's fine,no need to add Ms. I complain to you all the time"i mutter under my breath.
     "Alright Sophie,i need you to be Mr.Kelker's tour or student buddy, whichever suites you. You both have all your classes together and you seem to be getting along well"said Principal Meyers.
    "But Principal Meyers,what about Autumn and I'm closer to Autumn than TK"i say with frustration.
     "Look at that you have a nickname for him already,TK"said Principal Meyers who tries to brighten me.
     "Those are his initials Principal Meyers and I'll be his tour if you tell me who's bodyguards are those"I retort.
    "That's my final decision, Principal's orders Sophie and you're smart i think you'll figure it out"said Principal Meyers.
     "You just pulled the Principal card on me, that's not funny"i say to her in exasperation.
     "I just pulled the Principal card on you and there's nothing you can do about it,Ms.Autumn please follow me to change your timetable because Mr. Daniel is going to be your tour, Sophie is going to take you to meet him later. And Sophie where are your uniforms"she asks me.
    "Got delivered to the wrong address"i tell her.
    "... and this wrong address is one of your mansions right?"she asks me.
     "Yeah,but i wasn't at that address"i tell her. "Okay,the school's going to sort it out before closing hours and send it over to your two current addresses"she tells me as she walks away with Autumn.
    "Thank you"i tell her before i lead TK to our next class.
