" No" I answer before my Sophie has any chance to respond... " I sealed that door up and it's going to stay that way. '' I growled, glaring at Liam... The man was just as large as me except that he had a more slimmer, toned body compared to my broad, muscular one.. " And I agree that it needs to be sealed, but.." I stop him "just open a new portal, you're Mr.intelligent right? Make one!'' I force between clenched teeth.. " It takes months, if not years to construct a portal... Cedar and Lizzy don't have that amount of time... I swear to you that once they pass through the door, We will seal it again, for good and for always. "

" I'll repeat, No, find another way" " Castor!" Sophie's voice is soft as she walks over to me... her hands moving to touch my chest "it's okay, they need our help and if breaking down the wall is what we need to do.. Then.... Then it's okay ''I move my hands over hers.... " I promised you that you would never have to look at that door again" she smiled as she held me tightly, her small arms wrapped around me perfectly.. " I know, but I don't hate the portal... I hate the earth, I hate Kentucky, and i hate my father... The portal brought me home to you. Her words light a fire inside me and I hold her closer... " you and Jason are everything to me."

More tears fall from her eyes. She holds me a few seconds longer... before she turns back to Liam, " you will have to tear down the wall" " that won't be a problem" Adira interjects. " Liam looks at her...there's something in his eyes.. Something happened between the two of them..... " Sophie, can you tell us where the house is that led you here?" She nods and moves towards the living room with Liam and Adira doing her best to give him directions and recall the night her brother and she had left... " I can't give you an address... only the direction in which we started walking...." Liam nods " just tell me everything you can remember and I'll do my best to help him find it."

I walk back into the kitchen, dialing my father's cell phone. It rings twice before he picks up " Congratulations are in order I hear" I shake my head, running my fingers through my hair... " Thanks.." I smirk " How's Jason?'' I ask "Oh, he's perfectly fine! He's been my right-hand man in the garage since you ran off and left me" I smirk, hearing the joking tone in his voice... " Thanks Dad, I'm sorry to leave all this on you at the last minute".. " don't even worry about it. Jason and I are doing great! We even got to eat pizza last night! '' Castor could hear Jason in the background giggling, " You Kids do whatever you gotta do and then we can all celebrate together at my place with a barbeque...." The sound of a five hundred pounds on concrete turning to rocks and pebbles fills the house...the floor shakes beneath me. Adira must have knocked down the wall. I sigh " See you soon Dad '' I flip the phone closed and move back into the living room that was now empty... I join the others downstairs in the basement.. All three are working on moving the now crushed stone out of the way...

Instead, I reach my arm out and put all of my focus into the stones...they watch as I force every last dust particle into the corner of the room... Sophie looked over at me, and her mouth dropped open in awe. " That will never stop being Hot." I wink at her before a loud beeping breaks out... Liam holds his arm up and begins messing with what looks like an extremely oversized watch on his wrist... a little blue hologram of Cedar appears standing on the Watch... " I think we found it" cedars voice glitches... " There's a Lantern in the window".. "that's it!" Sophie exclaims... " It must be magic.. I don't know what kind of person can make a lantern that can stay lit for over a week"... " The same type of person who can build a portal to earth that never closes and keep it a secret '' Liam looks over at my sweet mate before glancing over at me.

" A very strong type of Magic '' he clarifies... " Sophie, is that you?" Lizzy's voice comes from the watch, I see her hologram figure move in front of cedar "Hey Lizzy! It's me!" "this is crazy!" She laughs " you have no idea!" ... " What do we have to do, Sophie?" Cedar's voice comes back through... "All you have to do is walk through".... " I just tried that; we are.., standing inside... There's no portal here... just the inside of a decaying creepy, weird-ass old house" Sophie's face looks confused.... " that's.... That's not right... All I had to do was open the door and walk right in....

..." Sophie, was there anything else that you did? Anything else that happened when you got here?" Liam looked at my mate, and her teeth raked across her bottom lip as she struggled to remember every move she once made a week ago when she arrived... " No... I opened the door, saw this basement,walked in... then I found the letter on the kitchen table..." her eyes shoot up with realization and looks at Liam. their eyes meeting briefly. " do you still have that letter?" she nods, turning to run upstairs and grab the folded piece of paper before bringing it back and handing it off to Liam, who unfolds it like someone just handed him the declaration of independence ... " To My Dearest Sophie, I bought and fixed our house, especially for your arrival. I hope it has everything you and Jason should need or wish for. I have hidden some cash in the basement as well, which should help take care of you both. Welcome Home" Liam continues reading. analyzing the letter again and again... " this house was built for you... whoever made that portal built it just for you Sophie..." My little beard hesitates as she thinks carefully about Liam's words. " I thought that too, But why?! Who knew Jason and I would even find this house?" Liam shook his head... " I'm not sure but,... but if I had to guess, the house and portal only react to you specifically.. No one else can open it" Sophie looks towards the wooden door.. " So I have to open it?" " I hope that's all; that needs to be done..."

" Cedar!.. You and Lizzy go back outside the house... We are going to try and open the door from our side"... " Copy that" Cedar's voice comes back in response.... " Okay!, we're outside and the door is shut; make this quick because we think her dad's found us and he brought some friends along" Liam looks across the room to Sophie and she nods in understanding.

Sophie walks cautiously closer to the door and I watch as she reaches with a shaking hand... I walk over, placing my hands around her... " We can do this together'' I place a kiss on her cheek and feel her body physically relax a little more... " I'm right here '' I whisper into her ear as she turns the knob and pulls open the door... Revealing a pixelated whirlpool Image of Cedar and Lizzy holding hands. Quickly he pulls her through the door... " Close it! Quick! Do it now!" Cedar's voice booms and echos of the basement wall, throwing demands as he falls to the ground holding Lizzy in his arms... Sophie's body stiffens and I pull her away from the door. I see a group of men running towards the Door.." Adira and Liam are right behind me, quickly slamming the door closed again... I use my telekinesis and forcibly slide the heavy bookcase back in front of the door... still holding Sophie with one arm refusing to let her go... "It's over.. You did it! You're safe" I hold her tightly...

 " were they coming for me?" she looks up at me... " No '' Lizzy shakes her head... " Me... Father found our location and tracked us down..." she leaned up against Cedar, leaning against his body... " They were never going to get you over my dead body.... And that man wasn't your father.. I already told you that" he kissed her head gently.... " Welcome Home Princess' ' Liam smiles down at Lizzy and we all just start to laugh... This week has been one Hell of an adventure....
