Patton had begun xir game. Xey knew that it was just a matter of time. After all, Roman and Virgil were so TERRIFIED of xem on hunting nights.
Grinning from ear to ear, Patton revved xir chainsaw in the dark halls of the house. "Come out, Virgil~ Roman...~ I won't cut you in half this time!~"
Stiffling a laugh, Patton whirls around to see Janus staring at xem from a corner. "Ooh, too bad, Janny. You didn't hide so well."
Janus shrugs, his eyes rolling as he steps out of the corner. "I didn't try to hide, Patton. Unlike the others, I'm not a coward." He sits on the couch, vibrant green eye locking onto Patton's deep brown ones.
"Mmm. That may be true, Janny. Buuut... rules are rules. The first one caught gets cut in half. I'm not sorry about this." Grinning, xey rev their chainsaw louder, and slice through Janus vertically.
Blood splatters all over the couch and walls, and Patton hums. Xey raise xir voice to be heard from all rooms. "FIRST BLOOD GOES TO JANUS, EVERYONE ELSE GETS TO LIVE IF I CATCH THEM!"
Virgil steps out from behind a curtain, looking mildly nauseous, but also extremely satisfied. "...I didn't die first this time."
Patton grins at them, xir eyes glinting with sheer glee. "Good job, Virg! I'm proud of you, kiddo! Now, wanna get the others? We have to clean this mess before Thomas wakes up..."
As xey speak, Janus descends the stairs, having just reformed. "Mm. Yes, it would be a problem if Thomas woke up..."
