Patton couldn't beleive what he had just done. In hindsight, it was a good thing, but it was still terrible. He had just killed a man.
Now, before everyone goes Apeshit, let him explain. He was walking by, having recently bought a puppy and he spotted a man mugging a woman in an alley. He thought that maybe he should call the police, but he saw the man step towards the woman and grip her shirt. He saw red.
Red like blood that would soon be spattered on his cheeks, lips, and hands.
(He lunged at the man and clawed at his face and bit down on his neck like a rabid animal, running on carnal instinct and inhumane rage)Red like the bloody path made as he dragged the body to the dumpsters.
(He knew that he needed to hide the body and get rid of evidence)Red like the bathroom water when he ran home.
(Sickness filled his stomach and made him ready to kill again but he was still scared, nervous)So now he sits, waiting for someone to find him out, the new murderer quivering with fear.
Days would pass and nobody knew yet, and he started to feel stronger when thinking about his first kill, however sloppy it was.
