Patton opened the oven, excited for xir meal to be done. "Mmm... This roast smells delicious!" Slipping on xir oven mits, xey pull the pan out.
Virgil moves closer, his eyes narrowing at the dish before him. "You're sure it's fully cooked? And that you didn't use brains?"
Patton sighs, exasperated. "Virgil," xey begin, setting the pan down on a cooling rack. "I told you before. I don't feed anyone the brains." Xey take off xir oven mitts, completely unamused. "I save those for myself, thank you."
Virgil chuckles uncertainly before watching as Patton takes off xir apron. "Aha... yeah. Sorry, I kinda... forgot." He takes a pile of plates and starts setting the table.
Janus hums softly, adjusting the lighting as he scrubs the couch clean. "Hmm. Well, not all of us can be perfect now." He smirks at Virgil, his eyes glinting with smugness.
Virgil scoffs, unamused. "Whatever, Snake." He sets a plate down, before they hear the door open.
Patton freezes, xir eyes widening as xey turn to see a horrified Thomas staring at them. "....Aw, fuck."
