Y/N POV

It has been a wonderful day. You met a new friend, and now the both of you were underneath a tree chatting? It couldn't get better than this. And don't forget that her head was resting on your shoulder. Just what great friends do... right? Whatever your relationship was, you enjoyed it. Noelle was one interesting monster. Quiet and shy, but could surprisingly keep up a conversation with you. She seems quite comfortable with me. It looks like you have that human charm... or are just stupidly lucky. To sum up all my ranting, it was just a perfect day. Sadly, the sun was setting and was going to be dark soon. As much as you wanted to stay and chat more. The both of you should probably start heading back home.

"Now, how do I get this reindeer off of me?"

You asked yourself as you tried to think of some ways to get her off of you without sounding rude. You decided to tell her straight up.

Y/N: "Hey Noelle?"

You asked her as you waited for her to respond. She moved her head so she could face you.

Noelle: "Yes, Y/N?"

She responded with that nice voice of hers. You will never get tired of that voice. But you know you have to tell Noelle something that will probably make her hate you forever.

Y/N: "I enjoyed this hangout, but we both should start heading home."

You hope that you didn't say anything wrong. But you were probably worried about nothing.

Noelle: "Oh, yeah, sorry."

Noelle said as she removed her head from your shoulder. You could notice a small blush on her face after being told to get off of you. Now you probably hurt that reindeer's feelings by telling her to get off. But you couldn't stay like this forever, even though you wish you could. You got off the ground and stood up, stretching a little. After that, you lend your hand down to Noelle to help her up. That blush on Noelle's face got darker as she grabbed your hand and got off the ground.

Noelle: "Thanks..."

She responded as she stood up beside you. After a while, the both of you started to walk out of the park together. It was a nice scenery. The both of you walk together while the sun sets behind you. It was silent for a few seconds, but that silence ended when Noelle started to speak.

Noelle: "Hey Y/N?"

She asked while looking at you. Her eyes seemed to focus on yours. You couldn't stare away, so you responded.

Y/N: "Yes, Noelle?"

You responded, wondering what she wanted to talk about.

Noelle: "I wanted to ask if... after school, you wanted to come with me tomorrow to the library and study together?"

She asked, her shy nature coming back to hunt her for asking this. Was she asking you on a... study date? I mean, a first date in the library isn't romantic. But it's good enough for you. Or maybe you're overthinking this. Whatever it is, your answer didn't change.

Y/N: "Of course, I do need help studying."

It was true; you did need the help. Noelle seems happy with your answer. You could tell by her tail wagging around. Also because of the whole red face thing.

Noelle: "Great! Also just letting you know that we can't use the computer room in the library."

This confused you. Maybe it was being remolded, or maybe something was happening in there. You decided to ask either way.

Y/N: "Oh? Why can't we use that room?"

You asked her, still wondering why it was closed.

Noelle: "Yeah... me and Berdly tried to use the computer room a few weeks ago. But the door was locked. The only thing we could see through the window of the door was a white dog. It was using the computers and napping in there."

Noelle said with a tired voice. She seems to be tired of this weird, annoying computer dog. This reminded you about something.

Y/N: "So another white dog. Great... where do they even come from?"

Noelle seemed surprised about this; she tilted her head as she stared at you.

Noelle: "There's more?"

She asked. Oh, this poor soul doesn't know.

Y/N: "Yeah... just make sure to check the restrooms and stalls for white dogs."

That sounded like a weird sentence or something. But it was the truth. Noelle was even more confused but nodded her head.

Noelle: "I guess I will now..."

Noelle said as she continued to walk by your side. You two continue to chat and learn more about each other. Like how Noelle is on the cross-country team? Now that's interesting. Sadly, this little chat would end soon as you both had to go separate ways. The both of you stopped.

Noelle: "Well... It was nice chatting with you, Y/N."

Noelle said with that sweet voice of hers. It was nice to hear, and you could never get tired of it.

Y/N: "Yeah, it was nice chatting with you too... see you tomorrow at school?"

You asked, clearly not wanting to stop hanging out with her. Noelle then nods her head at your question.

Noelle: "I'll see you tomorrow morning as well; goodnight."

Noelle said, but what you didn't expect was her hugging you. You were shocked, like, come on. This reindeer monster you met yesterday is now hugging you and getting closer. This was a dream come true for anyone. Sadly, it didn't last long when she finally realized what she did and quickly got her arms off of you. She quickly turned around and started to walk away back to her place. You stood there, surprised about what just happened. But also happy. You started to walk back home with a smile on your face. Your life here in this town has been wonderful. But that good mood of yours would shortly end when you heard a bark in the bushes beside you. You didn't want to deal with this again and just got out of there and finally went home to end the day.
