I believe we become better each time we step out in courage. We become stronger whenever we push past our fears and do what is expected of us. We might feel like we are the most incompetent people in the world, but competence isn’t just a fancy word given to people who appear intelligent.
Competence is a title earned by doing the same thing again and again until you’ve mastered it. Competence requires a whole lot of faith and a bucketload of courage. It requires time and effort, too.
So don’t beat yourself up too much because you feel like today is just another day to be ordinary and average. We all have days like this when we feel nothing we do is exciting or good enough, or too mundane and monotonous.
Remember that competence would take faith, courage, time, and effort, but what ties it all together is consistency. Do not stop trying. Do not stop pushing. Do not stop being you. As you go out today, do the much as you can do today to steer yourself into your desired future. And when you can't give any. That’s enough for that day.
You were consistent. That’s all that matters.
