She was never quite ready,
but she was brave.
And the universe listens
to the brave.

3:00 PMShaina knocked on her father's study door still fuming like a mad bull but on the inside, she had a sweet deceptive smile covering that frown for her on her face.
"I apologise for making you wait but I wasn't aware, my presence was necessary." A bare foot Shaina now looked a little... Much shorter than before. She stood there staring at her father like she wanted nothing but to remove his smug smile off his face. He had the audacity to smile?!
"We were taking our leave but now that you're here and absolutely unaware of everything, maybe you want to start with reading this." Ranvijay Singh Shekhawat, who sat at an arm's distance from her spoke
He was aware that Shaina still had no idea about this deal and he came prepared to let her know it all.
How wrong could a person be?
She leaned forward and grabbed the file. Her eyes however, got captured in the beauty of a pair of beautiful eyes, with this distance she noticed the man to be tall enough that even while sitting he could dominate the whole room with the flick of his fingers. Just how effortlessly huge he was. But his eyes were zeroed on her and her fingers gripped the file tighter in her fists.
He was simply handsome, she fell short of words to explain his beauty, his sharp features were dangerous, his clean shave helped his cheekbones to stand out and simply put the touch of perfection to his beauty. The light skin tone he shared with his dad allowed his all black outfit to compliment him and make him stand out.
He looked so alluringly haunting. So much that she felt like committing an unforgivable sin to even look at him longer than necessary.
As she stepped more into his space to reach the mahogany desk, the space of her father's office closed on her. She found it difficult to breathe in the same space as him.
"Of course, God finds it funny to rejumble my sorted life and throw it back in my face. How did I even forget?" She hissed at herself in the lowest voice possible.
Shaina looked around to see her space and created uncrossed boundaries around herself but her eyes stopped at the most gorgeous person in the room. Indeed it was the Crown Prince, yet again.
His sharp features looked more defined to her from close and his chestnut brown eyes were unintentionally fixed on her every move and he most definitely knew that she didn't read a word at all.
Red covered her face and she averted her eyes back to the document in her hands.
"I think, you must take a seat." Yuvraaj finally spoke. Deep down he knew that this unwavering confident woman was still in agony and needed to sit. She obliged without a question as she pulled a chair from beside him to the other end of the table
No way she was sitting beside him again.
"Who is he? Some intimidating, rich, hot guy, who thinks he can stare at me?" She whispered to herself and mindlessly flipped the pages.
