She never cared
for the crown.
She preferred a sword,
sharp enough to slaughter
her enemies in a silent attack.

2:46 PMShaina Singhania.
"Shai! Please!"
"No."
"Aren't you my best sister?"
"No."
"Can you not even consider her?"
"No."
"Don't you love me?"
"No."
"Shaina! Please!"
"Siddharth Singhania. Get out." I was fed up with him. He wants me to sign Natasha for the Rodrigues collaboration. I don't see an idiot written on my face to do that.
Right now, we stood in the kitchen because Aryahi caught a cold and now I am preparing soup for her. My whole property for the correct answer; this bastard took her for an icecream yesterday when I was out on a date with the Crown Prince.
The sharp reminder of that man stirred something within me, I was traced back to the lift incident yesterday, his scent still lingers in the back of my head that I have it carved in my memory so deep and effortlessly; I might even be able recognise him just through the scent of his cologne in a crowd.
His touch was still imprinted on my skin, hair on my neck still rise everytime I think about him, his nose, his skin against my skin in an accidental fashion yet my hands sweat and feet tingle at the reminder.
I was snapped out of my reverie when hot steam from the boiling soup bursted on my face and I stepped away from the stove baffled for a second. I closed my eyes in embarrassment. Stop thinking about him! You are rooting for his rejection.
"Come on, I love her..." Siddharth spoke and I gritted my teeth at the constant reminder of what I am going to do to myself for his love. Don't snap. It's not his fault. Do not snap!
"Ok." I said as I turned the stove off before I turned around and he grinned.
"She gets a yes from our fashion choreographer, she gets our contract." I told him and he grinned like cheshire cat as if was doing a victory dance in his head
"But" I stepped forward as I leisurely wipped my hands and took my time to ensure that he knew the trouble he'll be into if his girlfriend puts me in an odd situation; "if she breaches the contract like last time or does something that puts us in a situation out of control. I'm going to sue her." I warned him and his smile fell
"What...?" He blinked at me and I smirked at his reaction. Poor boy.
"Do I have to repeat myself, Sid?" I asked him with my eyebrows raised and he nodded negatively"She'll do no such thing." He assured me and I nodded in affirmation
"I don't give her another option. And if you've nothing more to say, taste this." I told him as I pulled a bowl to pour the soup but my mind was hazy once again. I blew on the hot soup in the ladle before I forwarded it to himI am yet to sign the one that promises my resignation. I couldn't get myself to sign it, so I excused it until Yuvraaj's final yes is on my desk.
"It's nice." He showed me thumbs up and I nodded
"Everything alright. Salt? Spice?" I asked him again and he nodded again
