The most anticipated knock of the day on Kyna's door made her jump down from her chair and run to check if it was her oldest brother and it was. A huge smile appeared on her pretty face and she jumped on him for a tight hug.

"You're two days late, big bro." Kyna complained without breaking the hug and Yuvraaj patted the back of head

"Tell me, I'm the first one you came to meet." Kyna broke the hug and stepped aside for Yuvraaj to step inside but her untidy room made Yuvraaj make a face at the stuff lying carelessly on the floor

"You are." He answered and Kyna beamed before she followed his troubled gaze and burst into a fit of laughter

"I was studying." She cleaned some space for Yuvraaj to take a seat on the couch placed in her room

"So, what stopped you from returning?" Kyna asked occupying a seat beside her brother and he looked at her amused

"You don't know?" He questioned Kyna and she shrugged
"I want to hear it from you." She answered truthfully

"I wanted a way out of this marriage thing, before I came back." He answered with utter honesty and Kyna gasped

"You don't want her?" She asked in utter surprise and Yuvraaj looked at her more surprised

"At least meet her." She suggested and Yuvraaj looked away from his sister while his jaw was set tight. He didn't want to, why was that so hard to understand?

"The first time I will be meeting her is when dadi fixed my engagement with her. No, thank you." He grumbled and Kyna's eyes widened, her jaw fell and face brightened up.

"She agreed?" She exclaimed in shock and her hand flew to her mouth
"Man! She defied mom after she agreed to be a part of this family?" Kyna exclaimed and her eyes met her brother's gladdened ones

"What?" He asked to confirm and Kyna nodded before she narrated the whole story Ved told her while her hand moved animatedly as she talked

"You see, she's already famous in the palace. I am already in love with her, for real." Kyna said as she leaned back

"Meet her, once. And if you ask me, she's the prettiest woman, yes, I stalked her Instagram and she's a great match for you." Kyna added and Yuvraaj stared into his little sister's eyes for a whole minute waiting for more explanation to her likeness for the woman she never met

"I watched her interviews as well, she's fierce. She'll be the one to tame you and, that's a bet." Kyna drawled and leaned back on the armrest and Yuvraaj chuckled

"You'll lose." He answered but Kyna didn't hear what he said, she heard what he didn't and her eyes widened in happiness

"And even if I meet her, I am not putting a ring on it, not on Friday." He added and got up from his seat

"So, you'll meet her?" She asked him and he simply left the room without giving her desperate question an answer. His speaking limits are always pushed when he's with Kyna.

Deep down, he knew that he would regret his decision but Kyna was the push the convinced part of his kind needed, he was ready to go against his stepmother, if it was anything versus his stepmother. Even if it involved a woman who had no business with him? He wasn't very sure about it.
