Pragati Maidan,
New Delhi
8:00 PMHotchpotch has always been known to metropolitan cities, hustle and bustle is heard even in the farthest corners of these cities and the CEO of Singhania Textile and Jewelry was familiar with the never ending chaos.
Delhi was one of those cities which saw people work hard in the morning and tire themselves off by the evening and just as much of the night life. The craze and the maturity of human kind as well. Shaina Singhania saw it all.
With the start of fall expected soon and air getting quite cold at nights people now started wrapping themselves in warm clothes at least at night but the scenario before Shaina was quite contrary, anyhow the heaters in the room would of course protect the people from freezing to death.
The dim lights of the hall were startling for the audience initially gathered for the fashion show sponsored by Singhania Fashion Industries which falls under the Singhania Textile and Jewellery hence, under the control of Shaina Singhania.
Considering they underwent a lot of effort to arrange the show, their chief operating officer, Shaina Singhania graced her presence at the event marking that it was an important event.
It was the after party and every important person of the fashion industry was there, that was the influence she brought to the Singhanias.
Her very presence commanded respect and attention, she very much deserved. The sole reason wasn't the immense power she commanded on the tip of her fingers but the hard work she dedicated to attain it even when the opportunities were served to her on a silver platter.
A woman of pride and elegance, she was. Her hair fell low on her lower back, her diamond earrings dazzled under the bright spot light that fell on her. The black outfit she wore was the subtle emphasis of her power. Her nose ring, a symbol of her elegance which was paired with a delicate diamond wristband.
Her russet eyes travelled across the room and got fixed on one. The only one she found to be out of her reach. Tristan Rodrigues.
She smiled. Subtly. She clasped her hands on her midriff as she broke the eyelock with the man.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen." Her voice was as firm and proud as sweet it sounded, everyone present knew just how deceptive that sweet voice was.
"I must not take much of your time, I'm just here to show my gratitude. I'll start with thanking every person standing here. My team worked relatively harder." She said and earned a few good chuckles in turn and an applause
"I would like to thank my team for this masterpiece. I hope this was an enjoyable evening for each one of you. Thank you for the attention." She said, and the lights went back to normal. She descended the platform she climbed to be seen by each person in the room
Her five inch heels increased her height to six feet from her five feet and seven inches, she appeared majestic. She glanced at her parents and her chest puffed as she saw pride in their faces.
"The king called." Her mother, Nayana Singhania who stood in the farthest corner along with her husband told her husband while her eyes adored her little girl's success.
"What for?" Her father, Arjun Singhania asked and the woman looked at her husband astounded.
"Shaina." She hissed and watched her husband stiffen at the sharp reminder. She rolled her eyes while her jaw ticked.
