Shaina Singhania.
"Now. Move." I hissed through my gritted teeth and he did. I felt weak, sensations ran free in my whole body making me dizzy and with this shivering form, I couldn't even wear my helmet in one go.
I almost lost my balance and fell down when I attempted to move back. Thanks to the sharp instincts of the girl beside me, she held me and I whispered thanks to her.
Fuck it.
"Let us help you. Please." Her eyes were begging and I gulped a lump that formed in my throat. I checked the time in my wrist watch and fuck me! Another few minutes down.
"I promise nothing will... Can I drive you to her school with your bike?" She offered and a genuine smile graced my lips
"You're wearing a saree, little girl. I'm good." I told her and she sighed
"Bhai doesn't wear a saree. Let him drive." She suggested and I rolled my eyes but before I could speak she beat me to it, "See, if you drive yourself this thing might slip and you can get more severe injuries. Please let us help you. My brother dropped his brain in Rajasthan that's why he threatened you but I know it was empty. Please come with us! Plea-""Stop! Ok." I said and she stopped hopping on her heels. She blinked at me for a second. She was wasting my time and I didn't have enough.
"You agreed?" She confirmed with a grin and I gave her a tight smile.
"Join us in the car?" She requested again and I sighed before I nodded"You agreed? Again! I'm so awesome." She spoke the last part to herself but loud enough for everyone here to hear and I smiled at her before I leaned back to pull the keys out of the motorcycle.
"No... I can get it escorted wherever you want it to." He urged and I looked up at him expecting myself to be sweet or at least decent but that annoyance returned
"It needs repair, let it be." I told him in a blank tone and pulled my hand out of his sister's hold.
I went to grip its frame to park it aside but a man in black beat me to it and I looked at him dealing with my bike with care. I sighed and glared at the man taller than me and as insolent as a bratty kid while he stared back.
"Shall we?" Asked the girl beside me and I nodded. She helped me to the car nearest us and there was this sign on the bonnet I happen to recognise but I cannot remember how.
It was an eagle in a ring with it's wings spread open, I remember it. Where did I see it? Mridula showed this to me. Yes. But why?
"Just a few minutes, you'll be with your child." She assured me as she made me wear the seatbelt and I smiled at her in gratitude
"I... Uhh... Thanks." I told her and she just laughed it off before she settled on the front seat and that insolent man came to sit beside me on the back seat. Demon.
I gave them the address to my niece's school and the driver reversed the car to move in the direction to her school.
The warmth in this car almost pushed me in sleep but I forced myself to keep my eyes open
I let my stiffened back relax as I pulled my handkerchief and mobile phone out to see a few missed calls from Mridula but I cleaned my injured palms first once I dropped my phone on my lap. I cannot go to her school covered in blood.
