This anthology is a poetic craft more than just a collection of stories. It’s a counterpoint to my previous work, if I were in love, where I explored the idealized visions of love in my perspective—the one that dances in daydreams and whispers hope and promises. Here, I delved into the kaleidoscope of love’s real nature.

Red, a color so vibrant and complex, is the perfect metaphor of love. It can be a passionate blush of new romance, the fiery intensity of intimacy, or a delicate flush of a fantasy. But, red also bleeds with sadness, burns with cruelty, and stains with the darkness of crime. Each story in this work becomes a brushstroke, painting a different shade of this diverse emotions. It’s a tapestry woven from countless threads, a collection inspired by stories I’ve read, experiences I’ve witnessed, whispers of love and heartbreak swirling through the air we all breathe.

For a long time, I’ve always wanted to create one like this, and now, I’m ready to fulfill my wish to share this to you. Shades of Red, my 9th anthology, now yours.
