there he climbed and reached my balcony,

and like vines, he wraps his arms around me,

a perfect hour for trysts, I thanked the night,

I could see again the stars in his eyes,

and romance went back alive in our hands,

while no one catches our secret dance,

oh, I feel freedom in his warm embrace—

yet I only could, in this way.

darling, will this love end the rivalry,

between our beloved yet hostile families?

I carry a name you supposed to despise,

now we wear faces, covered in lies,

and here, fear wakes up in the chest,

as I stare at our different crests,

all my life, I lived with vermilions,

but for you, I would adore ceruleans.

those were days and weeks of us,

until my world was suddenly crushed,

my father’s men has caught my gent,

and to his family the news was sent,

in knees, I begged for his life,

even their words tortured my mind,

my wish was granted with a condition:

I’ll resume my years in their prison.

but for this love, I broke the rules,

even this town will call us fools,

no royal blood shall define the fate,

of a romance two lovers will create,

I choose him in the midst of mayhem,

even if its means to disobey them,

if his kiss is a sin I will commit,

here I’ll be, no signs of guilt.
