it was worse, I admit,
for the first weeks we shared,
it was just joy and delight,
but I smelled secret affairs,
it turns out, I was right,

but you kiss me then discard,
like a butt of cigarette,
you made a fool out of me,
now they call me idiot,

all true gold never rust,
unless I was a fleeting desire,
I truly had you in my heart,
while I was only your fantasies,
the romance we embarked,
perhaps I shall depart from this.
