It was a Saturday morning, and I had just finished my morning pilates. Enjoying the calm, I sipped my ice matcha, savoring the peace and quiet.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. I sighed, reluctantly getting up to answer it. "You again?" I said, exasperated, when I saw Jeonghan standing at my doorway.
"Hi, Shua," I added, my tone brightening as Joshua entered behind him.
"What are you even doing here? We see each other at school—isn't that enough?" I asked, a playful smirk on my face. "Or can't you just get enough of me, Yoon?"
Jeonghan playfully rolled his eyes. "Please, we are here for coups."
"Sup, A," Joshua greeted as he walked towards me. "Whatcha drinking?" he asked with a smile.
"Ice matcha. You want one?" I offered.
"Sure," he smiled.
"I want one too!" Jeonghan yelled from the living room.
"Ugh, can I say no?" I looked at Joshua with my best puppy eyes.
He laughed. "Come on, I'll help you," Joshua said, taking the cups from me.
"Oppa, do you want one?" I shouted, hoping to get a reply.
"Yeah, thanks," Scoups called back as he walked down the stairs.
Joshua and I headed to the kitchen, starting on the drinks. As I handed him the ingredients, he gave me a curious look. "You and Jeonghan... it's always a show with you two."
I rolled my eyes. "He's just infuriating, that's all."
Joshua chuckled. "Infuriating, but you can't seem to stay away from each other."
"It's complicated," I muttered, focusing on making the matcha.
Just then, Jeonghan poked his head into the kitchen. "Need any help, or are you two good?"
"We're good, thanks," I replied, a bit too quickly.
Jeonghan smirked. "Sure, sure. Just don't mess up my matcha, Ara."
I glared at him. "You'll get what you get."
Scoups joined us in the kitchen, stretching his arms. "What's with the early morning gathering?" he asked, grabbing his cup.
"Nothing special, just thought we'd hang out," Jeonghan replied, plopping down on a kitchen stool.
"Yeah, and possibly annoy me to death," I added.
"Part of the charm," Jeonghan said with a grin.
Joshua handed him his matcha. "Here you go. And here's yours, Scoups."
"Thanks, Shua," Scoups said, taking a sip. "So, any plans for today?"
"I thought we might go to the arcade later," Jeonghan suggested. "Haven't been there in a while."
"Sounds fun," Joshua agreed. "What do you think, Ara?"
I shrugged. "Could be interesting. As long as Jeonghan doesn't turn it into a competition."
"No promises," Jeonghan said, winking at me.
Scoups laughed. "Alright, it's settled then. Arcade it is."
"Okay, what do you guys want for breakfast?" I asked, scrolling through my phone for options.
"I'm fine with anything," Joshua said, lounging on the couch.
"Pancakes?" Jeonghan suggested, sitting up.
"I'm cool with anything," Scoups added, looking up from his phone.
