Felix

~~~
Felix couldn't help but be curious about what Marinette had in mind to fix his dirty suit dilemma. She seemed very confident she could fix the problem but also a bit nervous. Felix didn't care too much seeing as he could easily fix the issue after they discussed their new plans, but her nervousness intrigued him... so he may have played up his clothing concern a bit.
Marinette led him up to her bedroom after greeting her parents. Felix gave them a small greeting as well before following her. She gestured for him to take a seat on the chaise, which he did, and then proceeded to watch her frantically search her room.
"Oh gosh, where did I put it? it was right here yesterday..." Marinette grumbled, searching around.
"Perhaps I can help?" Felix suggested, growing ever curious.
"Ah-ha!" Marinette yelled in triumph as she opened one of her drawers. She glanced nervously back at Felix, "Don't... judge me, okay?"
This curiosity was eating him alive, "You know I can't make any promises," He smirked, but at her pout and slight closing of the drawer, he quickly retracted his statement, "Fine fine, I won't judge."
Marinette smiled and pulled out a suit vest and matching tie. They were the same design as the ones he wore currently but they were a different fabric, color, and pattern. Marinette handed them to him. The fabric was soft to the touch and flexible. The color was dark grey with a subtle black pattern decorating it. If Felix had to describe it, he'd say it was subtly elegant, very professional, and expertly crafted. He inspected the fabric more, finding Marinette's 'M' embroidered on each piece in almost hidden locations-- like she was marking her work but didn't want it to take away from the design itself.
"I-if you don't like them it's okay, I d-don't even know if they'll fit o-or if it'll be comfortable. S-so please don't feel l-like you have to wear it. I-I just had these lying around a-and..." Marinette scrambled, stuttering all over the place.
"Just had these lying around?" He smirked, his eyes met hers as he easily unbuttoned the suit vest he was wearing with deft fingers, letting it fall open and slip from his shoulders.
Marinette's eyes followed the action. He noticed the tips of her ears turning pink and the nervous tuck of her hair behind her ear, "Y-yes, I did..."
Felix slipped on the new suit vest, it fit almost perfectly, although it was a bit tight around the chest and back-- did she base it on Adrien's measurements? Compared to his cousin, Felix by now was a bit taller and his shoulders and chest a bit broader. It would make sense if Marinette used Adrien's measurements to try to make something for Felix.
"It fits rather well for something you just had lying around," He raised an eyebrow at her.
Marinette was frozen, very red in the face, and very adorable. Felix didn't bother buttoning the suit vest yet as he slipped the tie from Marinette's frozen hand. He slipped the tie around the collar of his shirt but didn't tie it yet.
He leaned toward Marinette, his finger tilting her chin up to look at him, "My eyes are up here, Marinette," Felix's voice was hardly a whisper, his eyes locked on hers.
She was having trouble finding her words, "F-Felix, w-what are you doing?"
"I thought you liked the disheveled look, Marinette." He smirked as he saw her shiver.
She was beautiful. He could get completely lost in her eyes and he'd be content to stay there forever if she'd let him. His eyes widen slightly as that thought crosses his mind. He lets his hand fall away from her chin and he steps back, surprised by his own actions. He's never been that forward without a specific reason.
"I apologize, I don't quite know what came over me." He frowns a bit, he hoped he didn't cross a line with her. When he flirted with Ladybug during his last visit, he had overstepped and been in a similar position to now. Back then she had gotten very angry with him-- no wonder Marinette didn't like him when he met her for the first time. Now the question was, why did he care so much about her? She was just another girl, another female to which he can use to further his own agenda... right?
"N-no no, it's okay-- I was just surprised." She swallowed and fidgeted, "I'm glad you like the vest and tie."
Felix's shoulders relaxed with relief, he just made her flustered but she wasn't angry with him... that was good. He tied the tie and buttoned the vest. He rested a hand on his hip--the only pose he would ever do. He wasn't like Adrien-- not photogenic or willing to do ridiculous poses, but this pose was good enough.
"How do I look?" He asked, genuinely curious as to what she thought.
He saw Marinette's expression change from flustered to studious within the blink of an eye. She grabbed her tape measure, tucked a pencil behind her ear, and got a notepad from her desk. She circled him like a true fashion designer, measuring and taking quick notes.
"It's a bit tight around the shoulders but otherwise it seems to fit you well, how does it feel?" She asked.
"It feels great Marinette, and I agree, it is a bit tight around the shoulders."
"And you like it...?" She asked hopefully, her big blue eyes meeting his once again.
He smiled genuinely, "I do. You captured my essence perfectly and I've only ever seen such expert craftsmanship from high-end brands. I doubt even Gabriel Agreste could match your ability."
Her eyes widened and this time she was full-blown blushing, pink cheeks and all. Compliments to her beauty were one thing, but complimenting a skill she'd honed and perfected-- something she enjoyed doing so much that she made something even for him-- would mean far more than complimenting her looks ever could. Not that complimenting her looks wasn't also on his agenda, but right now, he wanted her to know just how much this meant to him.
These pieces will never be just clothing.
