- Was requested, but i decided to make a pt 2 for y'all :D Hope you guys don't mind.

You went after Unstable, completely forgetting about the [OPERATIVE] you just left behind. The bakery had gotten surprisingly crowded, making it hard to spot Unstable amongst all the people there. "Unstable!?" You call out with worry laced in your tone, hoping to find him somewhere, but ending up with no positive results. You knew he was a fast man, but not that fast.

You looked everywhere in the bakery, but you just could NOT find him. You hoped you didn't upset him too much. You decided to check outside and immediately went outside, but before you could do that, Unpredictable stopped you.

"(Reader)... he's not worth it. You know that!" He said, trying to convince you to stay with him instead. He looked almost... desperate, with a hint of anger for your unwanted persistence. "But-" you begun, before getting grabbed by the arm and pulled out of the bakery, again. (Benevolent rn: 🫢)

You allowed him to drag you off, hearing him mutter a bunch of insults about Unstable along the way. As much as you wanted to find Unstable, you did care about Unpredictable too. It had always been challenging to get along with both of them without them trying to get you to stay away from the other. You tried to get them to warm up to eachother, even if it was just a little bit, but that proved to be futile quickly.

Anyway, you got outside of the store, in a spot where you both could sort of stay away from prying eyes. He turns around, facing you once more. He frowned at you, taking a deep breath before opening his mouth.

"Might as well just tell you.." He muttered, which you could hardly hear. You raised your eyebrow in confusion not knowing what he meant by those words. The only thing you knew was that you had to find Unstable at some point, but now, you should probably just let him talk.

"(Reader)... i hate you so much, but every time i see you with that lunatic, i can't help but feel jealous, and-" He trailed off, looking to the side as if he was nervous. "I think i love you." He said, looking you dead in the eyes, daring you to react negatively. You were beyond shocked, your mouth agape. What were you supposed to say to that?

"Wait- you... love me?" You questioned, not being able to believe what you had just heard. You wanted to reciprocate, to say i love you back to him, but the dreadful thought of Unstable lingered in the back of your mind.

Why you may ask?

Because YOU were in love with Unstable, the sole reason for your unwavering determination to seek him and tell him that Unpredictable was just being rude, and that everything would be okay. But the enemy of your crush, has feelings for you. You didn't even know how to react. You just stood there, staring at him with wide eyes.

And then, you could feel tears sting in the corner of your eyes, feeling overwhelmed by the thought of the situation. Unpredictable_day seemed to have noticed it, but you ran off before he could say anything about it.

You wondered if your friendship dynamic between the three of you was over as you ran down the streets. The [CIVILIANS] all shot you confused glares, but you kept running. You didn't even know where you were going, all you knew was that you had to get away from Unpredictable, at least until you've got the courage to face him again. But not today.

As you continued your journey to seemingly nowhere, you heard a shout from the distance, one scarily too familiar.

"(READER)!?" You heard, making you stop in your tracks. Ahead of you was Unstable_day, looking at you with worry and confusion. You ran up to him, jumping into his arms.

You were shaking and crying into his shoulder while he just stayed quiet surprisingly enough. "I d- don't know what to do!" You yelled into his chest, your words getting muffled.

"IT BE OK." He reassured as you lifted your head, your cheeks red from the tears that have spilt all over them.

"Unstable, i... i love you."
