First oneshot that doesn't have gore. 😃
You don't remember how long you've been here, sitting in the darkness of the room you're forced to stay in. The reason you even ended up here was because a days operative spared you out of empathy.
You were sitting on your slightly uncomfortable and crammy bed when you heard the door open. Light flooded into the room as you look up to see that Radiant came, probably to check up on you.
"Greetings, [IDENTITY] (name). You are awake, yes?" He asked once he saw that you noticed him.
"Yeah, i am." You answer from the darkness of the room. You look down at the floor.
You heard his heavy footsteps approaching you, followed by him taking a seat on the side of the bed.
"Are you still adjusting to your surroundings? I imagine it must not be radiant to spend your time in such a small room." He asks once he noticed the uncertainty in your recent behavior.
"Heh, yeah. Is it that obvious?" You say jokingly, making the optimistic man chuckle.
"It's pretty clear, i must say. Though, i can make you feel better, if you'll let me." He offers, grinning from ear to ear and hoping you'll agree to go along with his little antics.
You nod, wanting something entertaining after spending so much time without much social stimulation or anything productive to do. His grin just grows more when you do. Then his smile contorts into a devious smirk.
"You won't be disappointed, i can promise you that."
You felt shivers run down your spine when he said that. You didn't know what you had gotten yourself into, but you weren't complaining. You maybe even liked it.
"I'll take your word for it i suppose." You respond.
"Get over here then, pookie bear." He says temptingly, dragging out the last part.
(I did y'all so dirty. 😭)
You comply and scoot closer to him. He wraps his arm around you, pulling you closer to him. You just notice how cold you were before and lean into him to get more of that comforting feel of his body warmth.
He just smiled and scooped you up, placing you on his lap with your back pressed against his chest. You let out a long sigh and let your muscles relax. You felt him place his chin ontop of your head and before you knew it, you were fast asleep.
