Part 2~ A new Home

As Red led Elan to His House he couldn't help but wonder what exactly Elan was. From what Elan had Said he was A guardian, But he had never heard of them or of the humans that Elan had spoken of. Red sighed as He opened the Door to his house to be greeted by his son, Excited Red steve. Excite as Red called him was bouncing on his feet as He looked at his Father, not seeing Elan hiding behind the Steve.

 Excite wore A simple Gray shirt and tan trousers. The most strange thing about him was the Pair of Goggles that he most likely, Yet again, had bought from the Shop nearby.

 "Excited Red steve calm down, your Scaring Elan." Red spoke saying Excite's full name, causing the boy to stop and stare. His father only called him that when he needed Excite's full attention, Meaning that the five year old had to listen to his Father.

 "Papa who's Elan?" The young boy found himself Asking as red Sighed, letting Elan peek out from behind him.

 "This is Elan, He's hurt right now so can you go get the bandages and disinfectant?" Red asked his Son as the Young Red Steve nodded.

 "Yes!" He exclaimed before running to get the said Item.

 "W-who was h-he?" Elan asked as Red led him to a chair. Red, Sighing told him.

 "That's my Son, Excited Red Steve." Elan looked a little confused as The young red steve came back with the Bandages.

 "I got The Bandages and Disinfectant!" he told his father as he handed them to him.

 "Thank you. Elan can you stay still and Let me clean and bandage you up?" The older Red steve asked as The young guardian hesitated before Nodding. "Good. Now this is going to sting Okay?"

 As Red cleaned the Wounds Elan watched excite with curiosity. The red steve Beamed at him before running off to go do something. As Excite was gone Elan examined the room he was in to Ignore The stinging of disinfectant.

 The room was small and Cozy. In One of the Corners there was A fireplace with a few Chairs Around it. Elan noted that the Room was Lighted up with Candle lanterns instead of the magic lanterns that he had seen in his Own home.

 In all honesty he felt safe, It was a strange feeling as he was used to being in hiding with his family and away from Strangers such as Red and Excite. Red just radiated the feeling of Safety and Kindness. Excite However...

 He didn't know what to think of the Young Red steve. He felt like he would be a good Friend but... He still had the fear that everything was just a ruse to trap him. Yet at the Same time he hoped that It wasn't. It was that hope that had convinced him to Follow Red and that Hope that Had let him bandage him up.

 "All done Elan. Now where is Excite?" The Older red steve asked as He looked for his son.

 "H-He went into that r-room." Elan pointed out as The Older Sighed and walked over to the door.

 "I really need to put a lock on this Room when I'm not Around." The Older mumbled as Elan got up and Followed him.

 The Room was a mess of metal Bits and bottles as Red Took a intake of breath. Excite was Messing with bits of the metal when he saw his father and his Smile wavered.

 "Excited Red Steve you know that you aren't allowed in here without my permission." Red scolded as Elan watched with Curious eyes.

 It reminded him of when His Father Saw him doing something he wasn't supposed to. Scolding him. The way that red did it was... Kind and yet at the same time firm.

 He felt at home.
