Red sighed as he glanced at the to children. He had woken up to the two talking about something as he remembered that if he was to keep Elan here he'd have to inform the Red leader.
He was Scared to admit, he had taken a liking to the kid and didn't want the Red leader to say that he couldn't stay. But if anyone knew the Red leader well it was Him. After all the Red leader had taught him a few things about the world that otherwise he would have learned the hard way. Just as Elan had.
Shaking his Head he as He thought about his Leader he went to make food for the Children. The two probably hadn't eaten super the Day before and he was ashamed to admit he had forgotten to get food for Elan. He just hoped that the child would Like apples for breakfast.
Meanwhile with Elan And Excite, Excite was telling Elan all about his Friends and they're names. All names of a emotion and something to do with what they do which confused Elan. Why name your child a emotion? Doesn't that just force them to act like that to fit everyone's point of view on them?
"I'm going to call you Goggles." Elan suddenly told Excite as the Red child paused. He liked the Name but at the same time didn't know how to respond. He had never been given a nickname that didn't correspond with his own name.
"Why?" He found himself asking the Guardian.
"You wear goggles and I don't understand why your name is excited red steve." Elan stated as Excite smiled at him, Happy and excited once more.
"Really? I love it!" He exclaimed while Giving Elan a hug. Elan smiled softly at The steve with a Smile that could melt even the Darkest of hearts. Goggles as Elan now knew him glanced towards the kitchen as Red returned. "Food!"
"Food?" Elan echoed as he got up after Goggles jumped up and ran to Red.
"Give." Goggles said as Red chuckled and Gave the steve A apple before walking over to Elan and Holding one out to him.
"Here, you need something to eat before Lunch as I forgot to give you food last night Kiddo." Red told Elan as Elan slowly took the apple from his hands.
"Thank you..." Elan whispered as He looked gratefully at Red. "For everything..."
(So I realized that both Elan and Excited are really smart. I wanted to make sure everyone knew that it is because Excite is A red steve, A type of Steve that Means knowledge so of Course he's smart. Elan is smart because his parents taught him everything they could.)
