Part 14~ Birthday

(Time skip to after Goggles's Birthday and to Elan's birthday)

Elan watched as Goggles paced. It was Elan's birthday and he was turning six years old. When Elan had asked Red Why they celebrated Goggles birthday he had been confused. Turns out that the red steves celebrate people's birthdays. Elan's kind did not and he knew why. They were always in danger. After finding this Out Red had told him that He'd have a birthday party and The Red Leader was giving out the invites.

"Elan are you sure you'll be able to stand it? There will be a lot of people and a lot of attention of you..." This is what Goggles was worried about. Elan was as well but in his opinion he needed to actually talk to other Red steves. He lived with them now. He couldn't hide behind Goggles, Red, the Red leader or Explorer forever.

"I don't know but it's now or never." Elan stated as he got up and walked outside with Goggles Trailing behind him. Elan was scared to say the least but he was going to be brave.

"There you two are!" Red exclaimed as They came into sight and Elan wavered a bit at the amount of people. It looked like it was the entire kingdom... "Red leader went overboard on the invitations." Red explained as Elan and Goggles Nodded.

"I-is that t-the entire k-kingdom?" Elan asked as he grabbed Goggles's hand to ground Himself.

"Yeah... The Red leader feels as if this is a good opportunity for you to meet everyone since you've been here for a while.

"O-okay..." Elan whispered as He watched the crowds. It made him afraid. He wasn't used to so many people.

"Hey Elan I'll be right here and by your side!" Goggles comforted as Elan Smiled softly at him, unaware of the people who saw and melted by the sight.

"T-thank y-you Goggles..." Elan muttered as he tightened his Grip on the Others hand. If he was going to meet everyone he would have Goggles with him. There was no way he'd make it without his (Brother) Best friend.

The birthday party went smoothly other Then Elan having a hard time talking to people. But that was expected. Thankfully they all came in groups of 2 or 3 when they came to Talk to him. As the day ended Elan didn't know exactly what to think. He had been showered in gifts and he didn't know where he would even put them. Red Seemed to know though.

"We can put these in the attic. I was planning on letting you go up there anyways." Red commented as Elan nodded. He hadn't known they had a attic. But then again Goggles had never shown him it and Nor had Red.

"T-thank you..." Elan mumbled as Red smiled at him.

"I'd do the Same for Anyone else kiddo."
