Lunar is the daughter of Artemis,strange right,guess not. She lived with her mum (Raven)until one day her mum died while they went on their trip.
Her aunt Melanine took her in and became her mother figure. As she grew up she kept getting expelled from many of her schools.
It was just one normal day where Lunar went about running away from a monster that nobody else could see.
When she finally reached her school she realized the monster had already disappeared and it was time for her favorite subject History,today their topic was learning about different Greek gods and goddesses.

After the history lesson was over her history teacher Mr Denvas gave Lunar a crystal purple bracelet to use whenever she was in trouble.
She was confused on what danger could happen, but as soon as it was after school she was chased by a minotaur,while she was running she bumped into a beautiful brown haired girl.
As the brown haired girl realized why Lunar was running she told Lunar to follow her, while they were running Emmaline introduced herself as the daughter of Aphrodite.
When they got to the hill the minotaur got awfully close to them, Lunar decided to test out what Mr Denvas was talking about the bracelet.
When she pulled on the bracelet it turned into a bow and arrows started appearing from nowhere, Lunar took her aim and shot the minotaur right in its weak spot. As she stood stunned at what she did , a warm light purple glow from above her head shone, it appeared to be a bow and arrow.
When Emmaline saw this she was stunned too that a random black haired girl who just came was already claimed by their god parent.

As Lunar got into Camp Half Blood she saw a familiar looking figure,turns out it was Mr Denvas but he was now a centaur.
Of course all the weird things that happened to her today made her feel scared and want to go back home to her aunt.
