The new camper

Lunar's pov;

I was at the archery spot so I could practice my aim. The day had gone great so far and I couldn't ask for anything more

The sun was about to set when Annie came running to tell me that a boy who defeated a minotaur on his own.

"Huh. Wait don't you think-"

"I know,that's why we have to meet Chiron," Annabeth exclaimed while dragging me by the collar of my t-shirt.

"We???meaning you righhtttt" I replied "I have to meet Luke and Aiden,so you'll have to update me late, oh and bring Emma too"

As we both separated I started walking to the Hermes cabin hoping that Aiden was also there, considering that he was one of my closest friends and Emma's crush.

When I got in i immediately spotted Luke and Aiden talking, "Denny, Luke"I said as they both looked at me, " Heyyy Lulu"Aiden said in an almost sing song voice "Hi Lunar"Luke said.

"Did you hear about the boy who defeated the minotaur?" Lunar asked, "Of course we did, rumors spread like wild fire here" as Aiden answered Lunar's question.

As they kept on talking The new kid walked inside with Annie when the campers stopped bowing after Chiron went they started staring at the new kid, *he kinda looks nah wait nvm* Lunar thought to herself .

"Percy Jackson welcome to cabin eleven"Annabeth said.

"Regular or Undetermined"some random kid asked

"Undetermined" Annabeth said as the whole cabin groaned

Luke decided it would be best to step in so the situation doesn't escalate.

"Now,now campers. This is what we are supposed to do, welcome our new campers with a loving smile" Luke said as he turned to Percy, "Don't mind them it's just we are a tad bit to many" Luke said kindly

"Hiii my name is Lunar and this is Aiden" I said as Aiden waved to Percy.

"Oh and this is Luke"Annabeth said blushing a bit when introducing Luke. Percy and I seemed to notice this while Aiden stood there looking oblivious

When Annabeth noticed our stares she went back to her cold hard expression.

"Alrighty uhm Percy I'll be teaching you the basics of archery tomorrow" I said trying to not make things a bit awkward.

"Yeah and I'll be teaching you sword fighting techniques" Luke said. "Aiden and I will help you settle in tomorrow and show you around" I said trying to make him feel welcome.

"Uhmm thank you?" Percy said as he's statement came out more like a question.

Aiden and I decided we would just leave Percy alone so he can take in what happened to him and how surreal it sounded to know you have a god parent.

Emmaline, Annabeth and I decided we'd sneak out after curfew to catch up with each other.

We sat by the beach to just chill and get away from life a bit. Emmaline started of by talking about boys a bit and how she feels about Aiden

"Knowing him he's the most oblivious boy even when you flirt with him"I said to Emmaline while looking at the moon, "That's the thing ughhh" Emmaline complained "He just thinks of you as a friend at this point you should find a new guy to crush on" Annabeth said as I nodded my head to her statement agreeing with her.

"Probably try the new camper he's cute but not my type"Annabeth recommended I started shaking my head at Annabeth's statement when she mentioned Percy, I then notice that both girls where looking at me.

"Whatttttt?" I asked, "You know if you ever have a crush on the new camper you can tell us right" Emmaline said smirking at me. "No th- that's not wh-what I- I meant" I said as I felt a warmth surrounding my face. "Sure but you face says otherwise" Annabeth said, "I barely know the guy" I whisper-shouted  at both Annabeth and Emmaline. "Mhm that's what the all say sweetheart" Emmaline said to me.

"Ok let's just drop the case end of discussion okay?"I said, " Finee" the two girls said at the same time as they started laughing.

We continued to talk and snuck back into our cabins at 1 am.

A/n

I tried dialogue and the fact that I'm so horrible at it is a thing, anyway nothing interesting in this chapter except we got to meet  Percy ,yayyyy🥳
