Chapter 10 - The Darkness Vanquished
Aline's eyes blazed with a fierce light as she summoned the power within her. The creature let out a deafening roar as it realized that it was no match for her.
With a wave of her hand, Aline sent the creature flying across the room, its body crashing into the wall with a loud thud. Malakai let out a scream of rage and despair as he realized that he was beaten.
Aline turned to face him, her eyes blazing with power and determination. "It's over," she said, her voice firm and steady. "The darkness is vanquished."
Malakai snarled and launched a final attack, but Aline was ready for him. With a swift and deadly motion, she sent him flying across the room, his body crashing into the wall with a loud thud.
The darkness dissipated, banished by Aline's power and determination. The room was filled with a warm and golden light, and Aline knew that she had saved the world.
Liam and Eriol emerged from the shadows, their faces filled with relief and admiration. "Well done," Liam said, his eyes shining with pride. "You did it, Aline."
Aline smiled, her eyes shining with happiness and exhaustion. "We did it," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "We saved the world."
And with that, the darkness was vanquished, and the world was forever changed.
