Andy calls his mother for a chat, and Lari replies, "Yes, son?" Andy reveals, "Mom, I have feelings for Alex," to which she responds, "I knew already, son, but it's sometimes best to let our children find their own way." Andy confides, "I deeply care for him, but after telling him, I realize he only sees me as a friend, nothing more." His mother counsels, "Son, you're too young to be certain if you want to date, and life is full of disappointments, but always be ready for anything." Andy expresses gratitude, "Thank you, Mom. I understand that our paths will diverge as we each pursue our own journey." She concurs, "Indeed, son, and I'm aware you aspire to attend college abroad." He affirms, "Yes, I'm determined to study in the United States and will give it my all." His mother assures, "Son, despite the world's prejudices, I will stand by you always." Embracing her, Andy says, "Mom, your dream is mine as well," and she replies, "Thank you, son. My love for you is boundless."
