Alex enters his room, surveys it, and on the shelf, spots a photo of himself and Andy, both noticeably younger. He whispers, "You've disrupted my life, my friend. I love you, but I can no longer accept you. Someone else will bring you joy; I cannot. My love for you persists, regardless of my relationship with Ana. I'm aware she will strive to stay with me, but one cannot battle their heart. My love for you is steadfast, and I will always fight for it. I yearn to be near you, come what may." Ana taps on the bedroom door and inquires, "Is everything alright, my love?" Alex replies, "I must go now." He sends a message to his friend: "Hello, friend. You're missed. I understand you're upset with me, but please know that my love for you endures, despite it all. You hold love for me, yet I am not the one to fulfill your happiness. Warm regards, Alex Vieira." Alex departs and heads back to the living room, where his mother questions, "Are you alright, son?" He answers, "Yes, Mom. I appreciate it."
