It had been a few months since the accident Katherine told us that Cole is going upstate for rehab on his leg. Me and Cole had been sleeping in the same room. He was tariffed I would have a seizure and die all alone. Sometimes he would stay up all night just Incase.
"Lexi I don't want to go. It's expensive and what if you have another si-" "Coleslaw your going and that's the end of it I'll be fine and ill come visit" I cut the boy off "call me every night and your visiting every second weekend at the minimum" he demanded usually I would protest but I didn't. "Cole it's summer. Ill visit all the time and call you everyday." I promised.
The next few days Cole was gone we talked every night just like I promised. I slept in his bed. Danny didn't complain we were friends and he usually spent his nights downstairs watching plays anyways.
Time skip
(The first visit)
I was driving upstate to visit Cole we called for an hour but he had to go to physiotherapy so I was now listening to my favorite country playlist
After a few hours I was back with Cole. I was back to happy.
"Lexi I have to tell you something" Cole started "what's up" I said looking at him "i love you" he said three words I never expected from him. "I love you too your my best friend"
"Not like that lex,I know I'm your best friend but sometimes I wish i was more to you" his green eyes staring into my eyes and occasionally drifting to my lips "Lexi Taylor Morgan I love you" he spoke cupping my face.
Before I knew it I was kissing Cole Walter he pulled me onto his lap and I was now straddling the blond boy I pulled my face away. "Cole Walter. I love you too" he kissed me and once again we were making out.
I would go up every Friday and return on Monday. Until Cole was back we were invited pages farewell to summer party Alex and Paige were dating and I had been best friends with Paige.
I went to get drinks when I returned Cole was kissing my best friend. After that night we never spoke of what happened and I left I ran away to rodeo.
