It had been around a week since the whole "Riley confessing her feelings to a boy with a girlfriend" thing and things had been rather strange since then.

For one: Riley couldn't get over the fact that she had just embarrassed herself in front of the whole school! It felt like almost everyday, sadness and embarrassment would team up and just keep on bringing up that memory.

And two: Riley wasn't acting like herself lately. She had become very distant and not to sweet and sympathetic as she always was.

But there was a reason for all of this. And the reason being that her own a emotion had taken a step back, and hadn't been to the console since the whole fiasco.

Once that little mistake happened, you couldn't help but draw back. You felt embarrassed that you had let the whole team down and Riley. You felt sad, and weak. Almost like you wanted to disappear.

You felt unneeded and unwanted by everyone. You quickly changed personalities. Not feeling so much Love but more Gloom.

Joy tried to talk to her about her problems but it would never work on you.

Sadness wanted to sympathize with you, but she didn't know how. Only being able to mention that fact that you should try and cope with your embarrassment. That wasn't gonna happen.

And anxiety would try and comfort you, but she would always talk about the bad things that could happen next after what happened a week ago. This frustrated you and would only end up in you yelling and getting mad at her.

The whole team noticed your odd behavior and soon realized it would be best if they just left you alone. But one emotion knew he had to step in and help get you back on your feet.

It had been a few days now and Riley was going on a field trip with her school. They were going to an amusement park. Testing out how physics work and stuff.

Everyone knew you loved amusement parks, always having that thought in the back of your head that some cute guy was gonna sit next to Riley.

But you laid in your bed with the cover over you and only a small nightlight Fear had given you for some light.

You soon heard shuffling. Almost like someone was walking but not picking their feet up all the way. Just kinda sliding around.

Then the sounds stopped, and you heard a deep voice speaking from the door frame.

"Bonjour." The voice said. Of course it was no surprise to who this was.

It was Ennui. Still leaned over half way like usual in his comfy lounging clothes and his hair (Put in a ponytail/ wrapped in a messy bun/ cut into a short bob/ shaped into a bowl cut from his bangs/ other) and his light purple lavender eyes only halfway opened with his phone in his left hand.

"Hi..." you said quietly, turning over to the opposite side of him.

"Riley's going to an amusement park. Joy says there your favorite." He said softly.

"Yeah, well, I don't feel like going to an amusement park today. You guys go enjoy it." You told him in a bit of a rude tone that softened near the end.

You heard the shuffling again. But this time it was coming closer and closer to you. You felt the end of your bed go down and make a small creaking noise. You looked over to Ennui sitting at the end if your bed. He had set down near you feet, checking he phone before shutting it off again.
