The Drunken Incident

♡Chapter Fourteen♡

Jake smiles warmly at Johnnie, his heart melting at the sight of his tear-filled eyes. He reaches out and gently wipes away the tears, then cups his face in his hands.

"Of course I still love you, Johnnie. I never stopped loving you, not for a single second. You're the love of my life, and I'm never going to give up on us. I know that things have been hard, but we can get through this together. I promise."

"Fuck, I love you.." Johnnie leans in and kisses Jake's cheek. "I may not show it very well, but I do love you Jake. a lot. you mean everything to me. If I hadn't met you, I would probably be dead by now."

Jake is taken aback by Johnnie's confession, but he's also incredibly touched. He pulls him into a tight hug and holds him close, not wanting to let him go.

"Johnnie, I love you too. I'm so glad that we met, and I'm so grateful that you're still here with me. You're my everything, and I don't know what I would do without you. I promise to take better care of you and make sure that you never feel like you're alone again. You're not alone, Johnnie. I'm here for you, and I always will be."

Johnnie felt his heart swell up at Jake's words. A smile broke across his face as he began to cry again. "Fuck, I love you so much.. you have no idea.."

Jake pulls back slightly and looks into Johnnie's eyes. He can see the love and trust in them, and it fills him with warmth and happiness. He leans in and presses his lips gently against Johnnie's, kissing him with all the love and passion.

Johnnie returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around Jake's neck. A few tears left the emo's face, rolling down his face tattoos as he returned the kisses to the punk.

Jake holds Johnnie close, not wanting to break the kiss. He runs his hands through his hair and pulls him closer, deepening the kiss.

He can feel the tears on Johnnie's face, and he pulls back slightly to wipe them away with his thumb. He smiles softly at him and brushes his hair away from his face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry. I just missed you so much. I'm so happy that we're together, and I promise that I'll never let you go. I love you, Johnnie."

"I love you too Jake." Johnnie mumbled as he pulled his sleeve down to cover his bandaged arm.

Jake notices that Johnnie is covering his arm with his sleeve, and he gently pulls it back up.

"Hey, don't do that. Your arm needs to breathe. I know it hurts, but you have to keep it exposed to the air so that it can heal properly.  I'm here to take care of you, and I want to make sure that you're healing properly." Jake says worriedly.

Johnnie sniffles. Wiping his eyes before he pecks Jake's lips. "You worry too much, I'm okay now, I promise."

Jake smiles softly and pecks Johnnie's lips back. "I can't help but worry about you. You're the most important person in my life, and I don't want anything to happen to you. I just want to make sure that you're safe and healthy. I know that you're strong and capable, but I still want to take care of you. I love you, Johnnie, and I always will."

"I love you too Jake, you mean everything to me. Really you do. you make my days better, even if it's just us sitting on the couch not even talking. Just your presence helps me. I just, fell into a rut of shit and .. you picked me back up." Johnnie replied.

Jake smiles warmly at Johnnie's words and pulls him into another hug. "I'm so glad that I could help you. I know that things have been tough for you lately, but I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what, as long as I'm with you, I'm happy. You mean the world to me, Johnnie. I love you so much, and I'll always be here to pick you up when you fall. You're not alone anymore."

Johnnie returns the hug, before asking with a smile. Feeling touched by Jake's words."Wanna have a smoke outside..?"
