The Drunken Incident

♡Chapter Eight♡

Jake grins as he sees the smile on Johnnie's face. He knows that he's pushing his buttons, but he can't help himself. He loves to tease him and get a reaction out of him.

He leans in close and kisses him again, this time with more passion. "Maybe later, emo bitch. But right now, I want to enjoy the moment."

Johnnie returned the kiss before he pulled back when he heard Jake's remark in return. He blushed before he shoved Jake away. "STOP."

Jake pulls away from Johnnie's ear and looks him in the eyes. He can see the playful annoyance in his gaze, but he can also see a hint of something else there.

Something more tender and affectionate. He leans in again, this time with a more gentle and loving tone.

"I know you're trying to act tough and annoyed, but I can see through that. I know that deep down, you love it when I tease you and call you 'emo bitch'. It's okay, I won't tell anyone." Jake says.

Johnnie rolls his eyes, before saying. "Well, I'm your emo bitch." He laughs.

Jake chuckles at Johnnie's response, finding it endearing that he's finally admitting to being his 'emo bitch.' He wraps his arms around him and pulls him into a tight hug.

"That's right, you're my emo bitch. And I wouldn't have it any other way." Jake mutters.

Johnnie laughs, "Okay, shut up." as he returned the hug.

Jake laughs as well, squeezing Johnnie tightly and planting a kiss on his cheek. He can't help but feel a rush of affection for him, and he's grateful that they can joke around like this.

It's one of the things he loves most about their relationship.

Johnnie feels the kiss against his cheek and looks at Jake with love. His eyes soften as he gets lost in Jake's eyes.

Jake stares back at Johnnie, feeling his heart skip a beat as he sees the love in his eyes. He can't help but feel a surge of affection for him, and he pulls him even closer, resting his head on his shoulder.

He wants to stay like this forever, wrapped in each other's arms and basking in the warmth of their love.

"How long have you liked me?" Johnnie asks, curiously.

Jake pauses for a moment, thinking back to when he first started to develop feelings for Johnnie. He remembers the first time they met, and how he was immediately drawn to his personality and charm.

But it wasn't until they started spending more time together that he realized how much he truly liked him.

"I think I've liked you from the beginning, but it wasn't until we started spending more time together that I realized how deep my feelings were. You're just so... you, you know? I can't help but fall for you." Jake says.

"So you're saying, you have had a crush on me since you raided me on twitch..? Wait, weren't you dating Tara at the time when you raided me?" Johnnie asks.

"Yeah, I was dating Tara when I first started to develop feelings for you. But I couldn't help it, you were just so... irresistible." Jake replied.

"Damn, yet you stayed with Tara and just recently broke up with her ten months ago." Johnnie points out, fidgeting with his rings on his hand.

Jake sighs, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the weight of the conversation. He knows that he needs to be honest with Johnnie about his feelings, but it's not easy to admit that he was afraid of getting hurt.

Jake takes a deep breath and continues. "I was scared, Johnnie. I didn't want to risk losing you if things didn't work out. But I also didn't want to hurt Tara by breaking up with her too soon. I know that it was selfish of me to keep her around just because I was afraid, but I couldn't help it. I just wanted to be sure that I was making the right decision."

Johnnie hums when he heard this. "Hey, that doesn't make you a bad person. You also still loved Tara at the time. You dated her for like six years, so it's understandable if you move on for someone else or, uh, I don't know. I hope that doesn't sound dick-ish, just.. you're human Jake, and sometimes it doesn't work out with people, and sometimes it does. You know?"

Jake reaches out and takes Johnnie's hand, squeezing it gently. "You know, I'm really glad that we had this conversation. It's not easy to talk about the past, but I think it's important for us to be honest with each other. I want to put everything behind us and focus on our future together. And I want you to know that I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me, emo bitch."

Johnnie laughs as he squeezes Jake's hand. "That's fine with me, punk-ass."

Jake chuckles at Johnnie's playful insult, feeling a rush of affection for him. He pulls him close again and kisses him on the forehead. "I love you. And I'm never letting you go."

"I love you too Jake, a lot. really. you saved me." Johnnie mumbled as he kissed Jake's cheek.

Jake's heart skips a beat as Johnnie's words sink in. He's always been grateful for the way Johnnie has helped him through some of his darkest moments, but he never realized how much he meant to him.

He pulls him into a tight hug, holding him close and feeling a sense of comfort in his presence. "You saved me too, Johnnie. my everything. I don't know what I would do without you."

"You'd probably live life like normal without me in it." Johnnie suddenly says, laying his head on Jake's shoulder.
