Pidge and Viserra stood eagerly in the medical bay, anticipating the moment the pods would open. Viserra, standing with her arms crossed, gazed at the pods, while the paladin sat, tapping her feet on the ground.

"You're just as anxious as me," Shiro remarked as he approached the girls.

"These aliens we saved know something about my family. They have to!" Pidge exclaimed.

   "I hope so," Shiro added.

"Alien here!" Viserra recalled, "and to me, you're actually the aliens."

"They recognized you, didn't they?" Pidge inquired. "They called you 'champion.' What does that even mean?"

"A champion is typically someone who's won something," Viserra explained, her gaze fixed on the pods.

" I don't know. I can't remember very much from that time. But the way those guys looked at me when we freed them...I don't know if I want to find out." Shiro expressed, just as one of the pods opened, unveiling a grey alien.

As the pods unsealed, the aliens Viserra and her team were tasked to save emerged one by one. Faon, the first member of her team, stepped out, followed by Viserra who stood near the pod, ready to assist the boy. However, the black-haired boy had different ideas as he tumbled to the ground face-first. Viserra sighed, hoping the paladins hadn't witnessed his fall. Swiftly, he rose from the ground and met Viserra's gaze.

   "V! You're alive!" he exclaimed.

"Unfortunately," Viserra replied, assisting Coriander out of the pod. Around them, the other aliens were seated on the steps, with Pidge offering them food, and Shiro aiding them out of the pods and providing blankets.

"My head hurts," Arrax expressed, settling on the stairs.

"You were struck on the head by a gun," Mayla responded, sounding annoyed.

"Really? Huh, I don't recall that," he remarked.

Viserra glanced at her team, noting they all appeared unharmed. Once Pidge finished conversing with the prisoners and she confirmed their well-being, they would set off for Ephedia. Unsure of the paladins' discussion, she observed Pidge and Shiro approaching her.

"Viserra, are you okay with staying with the prisoners?" Shiro inquired, pausing beside her.

"Yes," Shiro nodded before leaving the room with Pidge.

"What's that all about?" Coriander questioned, looking puzzled at the door.

"Who knows, earthlings are weird," Viserra remarked as she sat down beside Mayla. "How are you feeling?"

"Better now, but I don't like these pods, they're cold," the girl replied.

"Tell me about it," Faon chimed in, utilizing his powers to warm himself.

"Did you retrieve the ship?" Mayla inquired.

"The Galra took our power crystal and all of the Valyrian steel pieces. We could have repaired it, but the red paladin thought it would be a better idea to open the hangar and let the sentries be sucked into space rather than fight them," Viserra recounted, rolling her eyes at the memory. It really was a stupid idea to open the hangar, and to think he did it because his own lion wouldn't accept him.

Suddenly the alarms started blasting, this time Viserra was sure it wasn't a test. Her teammates looked at her with confusion.

"What's happening?" One of the prisoners inquired.
