Aap ki nazro ne samjha pyaar ke kaabil mujhe,
Dil ke ae dhadkan thahar jaa, mil gayi manzil mujhe,
Aap ki nazro ne samjha,

Ishan shivered a little, the cold evening breeze brushing through him as he stood at the London bridge, which wasn't too crowded surprisingly, overlooking the beautiful sunset. A soft smile playing on his lips as he softly hummed to the melodious song playing in his airpods, the lyrics reminding him of his own soulmate.

Ji hume manzoor hai aapka ye faisla,
Ji hume manzoor hai aapka ye faisla,
Keh rahi hai har nazar, banda-parvar shukriya,

Ishan has always known that meeting his soulmate was going to be special, but actually meeting Shubman and getting to know him has been something else, it has significantly changed his life for better. It wasn't just special, it was magical, enchanting even. Before knowing him, Ishan hasn't known a love so ferocious, so profound, so powerful, so bold, so strong yet so pure, the kind of love that he feels for the man, the kind of love that makes him feel so fresh, so alive and so joyous. The kind of love that stays in his every breath, the kind of love that beats alongside his heart, the kind of love that flows in his every vein like blood. The kind of love that is present in every fibre and atom of his being, only and only for his moon.

Hans ke apni zindagi mein kar liya shamil mujhe,
Dil ki ae dhadkan thahar jaa, mil gayi manzil mujhe,
Aap ki nazro ne samjha,

Shubman, his soulmate, his moon, had always made him feel so loved, so so loved, in a way that he had never felt before. He had never felt so cherished, so important, so much cared for as he do in Shubman's presence. Whether it was by letting him cry on his chest when he needed to or doing silly things to make him laugh, whether it was by surprising him when he was away for work in some other country or waking up early to make his favourite breakfast, Shubman's efforts had always made his heart filled with love and contentment, not leaving any place for any kind of longing. Shubman's undying love had cured all of his yearning long ago, he was the only love Ishan had yearned for anyway.

Aapki manzil hu main, meri manzil aap hai,
Aapki manzil hu main, meri manzil aap hai,
Kyu main toofan se daroon? mera saahil aap hai,

Not a day goes by when Ishan doesn't thank the universe for making Shubman his other half and giving him the chance to meet him, meet his moon. They had always been each other's destiny and destination. Now that he knows how it feels to love Shubman and be loved by him, Ishan can't fathom how he had spent the early years of his life without the man's presence. Shubman's face, his eyes, his smile and pretty-pretty dimples, his laugh, his silly antics, the way he pouts at Ishan sometimes (most of the times), his adorable attempts at puppy eyes and his horrible attempts at flirting that Ishan adores so much, everything, the whole of Shubman, has become such a significant part of his life that even the thought of living without any of these makes him shudder to his core.

Koi toofaano se keh de, mil gaya saahil mujhe,
Dil ki ae dhadkan thahar jaa, mil gayi manzil mujhe,
Aap ki nazro ne samjha,

Ishan feels that he could get through any challenges, any hurdles, any storms as long as he has Shubman with him. Shubman's love had always proved to be a pillar of strength for Ishan in all his ups and downs. When his book didn't get any recognition even when he had done his hardest on it, Shubman was there. When everything seemed useless and hopeless, Shubman was there. When he felt like giving up, when he had no strength left in him, Shubman was there. Shubman was always there and Ishan couldn't be more grateful for it. With Shubman supporting him in his every step, he feels like the strongest man alive.
