IT MUST'VE BEEN matt's lucky day, because he got to sit in the cabin right in front of sophia. truth be told, it's wasn't really luck - if it wasn't for chris running towards the ferris wheel, worried that someone could take their seat and leave them down there waiting for another 15 minutes, they wouldn't be in the cabin they are in right now.

"you know that you must seem like some creep who somehow happens to be her best friend's best friend to her, especially with the staring, right?" chris asked his brother, looking at him. the ferris wheel got stuck a few minutes ago, with matt and chris at the top, right in front of sophia and sam.

matt thought of it as a perfect opportunity to 'admire' sophia, but one thing he didn't know was that it indeed made him look like not just a creep, but an oddly obsessed creep.

"oh shut up, chris. it's not like she sees me look at her anyway, so it doesn't make me look like some kind of a freak." matt revealed, not bothering to look at his brother. "besides, i'm admiring her, not staring. and that's a difference."

he couldn't help but wonder what sam had said that was so funny, making sophia giggle so much. although he had met this girl not even an hour ago, he wished that it could be him next to her, making her laugh and getting to know her. of course, he knew her a little from nate's 'awsome' stories about her, but it didn't  change the fact that he'd rather find out more about her himself, and not from stories from some friend of a friend, who somehow knows sophia.

"hate to break it to you, but she definitely does." chris replied, a smirk already present on his lips. "damn, what did this girl do to you? even though you're staring at her, you can't see her look at you every few seconds with this weirded out look on her face."
