6-Change of direction

You've been flying for a while in silence, worry just running through your mind. Where was he?, Was he alright?, What if he had been shot down?, What if he was hurt?. But Luna still had the scent so that meant he was still moving, but where was he going?.

Viggo looked over to you, he saw the worry in your eyes and in your body language. He could read you like a book, you were internally panicking.
'Kiara' he said, but you didn't hear him,
'My dear?' he said a bit louder, which snapped you out of your thoughts.
'Hmm?' you turned to look at him,
'You alright?' he asked, you shook your head.
'No, no i'm not' you answered truthfully, he sighed,
'Hiccup had disappeared and I am chasing him around the fucking world, the rest have been captures by a madman, who is now threatening everything that I care about' you ranted, Viggo just listened contently.

'And there is nothing I can do about any of it, until I find Hiccup and drag his disobedient ass home, like he should have been in the first place' you finished, pinching the bridge of your nose.

He remained silent for a few moment,
'We're going to find him, and we're going to bring him home' he said. You sighed but looked over at him.
'Stoick is already prepared, Berk is on lockdown. Nothing bad is going to happen. They aren't kids anymore, they can handle themselves, you don't need to worry yourself over them anymore, I'm sure they will be alright' he said, a sympathetic look on his face.
'But I do, and I always will' you sighed,
'But you're right, I'm sure they can handle themselves for now. We can;t go back for them now anyways' you said, Viggo nodded, content with your answer.
'I know you do love, it's one of the reasons I fell in love with you' he said, you smiled.

You flew for a little longer, still basically in the middle of nowhere. What was Hiccup doing out here?, you flew around an iceberg to see a dragon in the distance. You suspiciously flew closer, thinking back to the other dragon riders Eret mentioned before. But you could tell it wasn't Toothless, the silhouette was too big. But as you were focusing on the dragon in front of you, another one came at you from the side.
'Oh shit' you yelled as you avoided, Luna blasted at it. Causing it to whine and fly towards the other dragon. Before you could react a dragon came from behind you, snatching you off Lunas back.
'Oh shit!' you yelled,
'Kiara!' Viggo yelled at you as Syrax fred at the dragon, but it dodged it. You looked back to see Syrax being surrounded by wild dragons.
'Viggo behind you!' you called out, but another dragon came from behind and grabbed Viggo as well. Luna and Syrax fought against the dragons but they were outnumbered. They kept trying to get to you but they'd just get pushed back as the two dragons that had you flew away.

'Luna!' you called out, she tried to fly towards you but was cornered and stopped by the dragons. She fired at one, and barged into another one. But a bigger dragon grabbed her wings, causing her to fall towards the frozen ocean.
'No!' you called out, struggling against the dragon's grip but it didn't help much. Syrax went after her as she fell towards the ocean, but he was also grabbed the thrown against the ice. Cracking it, the dragon then dived into the water, dragging him down with it. That was bad, now he can't use his electricity since he was wet.

Second later Luna was thrown through the ice as well. She tried to claw her way out of the water, but a dragon came from underneath her, dragging her underneath the water.
'No' you said, sounding defeated as you watched your dragon being dragged under the water, her roars being silenced as her head disappeared under the surface. The break in the ice became smaller and smaller as the dragons flew away, you didn't see her or Syrax re-emerge from the water.

You groaned, struggling against the dragon's grip. You looked over at Viggo who was also struggling against the other dragons grip, but it was useless. He looked over at you, worry in his eyes
'We should have just gone back to Berk' you said,
'I have to agree'

The dragons didn't retaliate to either of you, they didn't seem hostile. They must have seen humans before, they also mustn't see you as a threat. Cold air is constantly blowing against you from how fast they were flying. They flew over icebergs and over open oceans.
'Do you have any idea where we are?' you asked, Viggo shook his head.
'Can't say I do no'
'What species of dragon are these? You asked, looking up to the dragon that was carrying you. You haven't seen these dragons before.
'Can't say, even i've never seen these before' Viggo said, looking up at the dragon carrying him.

'You alright over there?' Viggo asked,
'I'm alright, just hanging' you said, causing Viggo to chuckle. You giggled at your own terrible dad type joke.
That's so stupid' he chuckled, but your giggles were silenced when the dragons flew over another big iceberg to reveal an ice-like fortress. Giant spikes of ice like the ones you saw that destroyed the trapper ship. The dragons flew closer, you saw many dragons flying around the fortress. None of them retaliated towards you and Viggo. Most of them were more just curious and wanting to get a closer look.

Some of these species you've never seen before, not in the book of dragons. Not in any history book you've read, not in any illustration you've seen. You could tell Viggo was thinking the same. They flew you inside from a break in the ice, you flew into a dark cave. Your eyes took a moment to adjust, squinting your eyes to see better. Feeling nervous as you now couldn't see if you were to be attacked.

You were dropped on the rock floor of a dark room, Viggo was dropped next to you. He instantly moved to your side, grabbing your arm protectively as you both looked around the room. Seeing you were surrounded by dragons that were just analyzing you. Some dragons had flames ignited in their mouths which illuminated the room enough to see. You didn't know what to do, or where you were, or where you could go. You grabbed Viggos arm in return, making sure to keep him close making sure another dragon couldn't snatch him away from you. But they stayed a distance away, appearing to be waiting for something, but what?, or who?.
