Y/N

It's Friday morning, and I'm in his office going through his schedule and upcoming events. I can't bring myself to make eye contact with him. I'm just quietly reading and responding with simple yes or no answers. And I'm not trying to act like a bitch, I'm just trying to keep this professional, nothing else.

"That's all." I collect my papers with urgency and walk to the door.

"Y/N." He calls my name.

"Yes?"

"Last night, I didn't mean to upset-"

"If there's no work stuff to discuss, Mr. Jeon, I need to leave. I have a ton of things to take care of." When he doesn't say anything else, I take my leave.

Now I know what he wants. He wants a family, but not with me. Sure, he can have that, but that doesn't mean I'm going to pretend like nothing happened between us. I'm hurt, and I've never felt like this before. I never thought I would feel this kind of pain, this kind of loss. Yes, I've been on relationships before, but the breakup was never like this. Mr. Jeon was not my boyfriend, yet I feel like I've lost something that was worth fighting for.

I decided to leave work an hour early today. I let them know I wasn't feeling well, and that's the truth. I couldn't concentrate on the screen or anything else. Now, as I sit outside with a warm cup of coffee in hand, I can feel the tension leaving my body.

"Hey" I hear someone say behind me.

"Hey" I answer when I see Kian walking out from the kitchen door.

"What are you doing here in the dark?" He asks as he joins me on the couch outside.

"There were a lot of mosquitoes, so I had to turn the lights off." The darkness isn't too bad, we can see everything thanks to the light from the moon. I don't see Rhys coming in behind him so I ask. "Where is Rhys?"

"It would be weird if he wasn't here with me right?" He chuckles.

"Well, yeah. You two are always together." I say as I stare at him. He's got on some black jeans and a black jersey shirt, and his dark hair falls over his forehead. His blue eyes shine like the night sky.

"He is with Patricia." He says, grinning.

"Patricia?"

"Yes, his bike."

"He named his bike Patricia?" I inquire, taken aback. This must be an ex-girlfriend or something. Someone like Rhys would never choose to name his bike Patricia. I would have anticipated a more fierce, powerful name.

"No, I did." He says and starts laughing.

"Does he know that?"

"No."

"Hmm. I think that's unfair." I say and he raises a brow at me. "Don't look at me like that. If you named his bike Patricia, then we'll have to find one for your bike."

"We are not gonna do such thing." He says flatly.

"Hmm." I massage my temple, playfully pretending to think deeply as I struggle to come up with a name. Suddenly, Rhys walks out and quietly sits on the other side with us.

"Y/N, don't." Kian pleads.

I turn to Rhys. "Did you know Kian named your bike Patricia?"

He gives Kian a death glare before he speaks. "I'm not naming my fucking bike Patricia, Kian."

I can't stop myself but laugh. "I found one for you." I turn to look at Kian and his eyes widen.

"No don't say it." He attempts to silence me by covering my mouth with his hand, causing me to burst into laughter. Rhys observes, a smile forming on his lips. At the same time, I struggle to push Kian away as he tries to muffle my laughter.
