Clean roads of Clifton Karachi with moving traffic sounds of horns and hustle bustle of the city.
Ashaar Haamdani stepped out of his Audi A4. A car he gifted himself three years ago. He stepped out of his luxurious car and closed the door. He put his sunglasses on and walked inside the small office building.
The receptionist didn't dare to stop him as he took strides towards the elevator.
The elevator pinged and Ashaar stepped on 7th floor of the building. He walked straight and entered inside a cabin unannounced.
"Ashaar?" Aabis also known as his father stood up from his seat.
Ashaar took a seat in front of him very respectfully. He put his phone and keys on the table.
"Apne bulaya tha?" He asked curtly removing his glasses.
"1 hafte phele!" Aabis voice was angry.
"Personal assistant nahi hu apka jab awaz denge bhagta chala aou! Kaam bole." Ashaar the 25 year old son of his replied.
Aabis straighten up and decided to have conversations he was dreading for days.
"Mujhe kuch baat karni thi." He started.
"Jaanta hu." Ashaar replied.
"Mein apne bacho se milna chahraha hu!" As soon the words left his mouth a chuckle escaped from Ashaar's mouth.
'A dark chuckle'
"Apne bache? Mere bache baba!" He looked straight in his eyes and said.
"Mein janta hu tumne pala ha unhe leken bache mere hi hai woh!" Aabis glared back.
"Nahi Nahi apke bache nahi ha woh! Apki sirf ek beti ha aur shayed beta bhi. Amraha Arez or Amar teeno mere bache hai." Ashaar replied.
"Ye baat mat bhoolo mene tumhe unki custody di thi!" Aabis snapped.
"Mene bheek mangi thi! Zindagi mein pheli baar apke agey hath phelaye the tab bhi apne mujhpe taras nahi khaya tha! Custody apne mujhe di thi uske badle nanu ki company 10% shares lie the." Ashaar snapped back and much more loudly than his father.
"Awaaz neeche rakh kar baat karo baap hu mein tumhara!" Aaabis said.
"Baap? Kab the ap mere baap jo ajj ap mere baap banagaye ha? Apne chaaro bache apne usdin khodie jis din apne meri maa pe cheat kia." Ashaar replied.
"Tumhari maa laiq bhi is hi ke thi! Jo aurtein pura pura din ghar se bhar rehti ha unke shohor yahi krte ha phir! Mujhse ziyada waqt uska us Kaamil sath guzarta tha." Aabis yelled.
"Kaamil assistant tha unka! Izaat krta thi unki wo ghar se dur rehe kar bhi ghar se juri thi aur ap? Ghar kr bahar Muh maar rahe the!" Ashaar retorted.
"Ashaar!" Aabis shouted.
"Awaaz neechi rakhein baba! Ek waqt thi in akhon se darta tha ab nahi!" Ashaar said nodding his head angrily.
Aabis took a deep breath and sat down.
"Mein chahta hu Arzoo apne bhen bhaiyo se mile!" Aabis said.
"Uske bhen bhai nahi hai. Wo apki beti zarur ha leken aur koi apka bacha nahi hai." Ashaar replied.
"Ashaar saalo hogaye mein apne bache nahi dekhe! Meri Amraha ki mangni krdi tumne mujhse poocha bhi nahi." Aabis scoffed.
"Akhri baar kherahi hu apki nahi meri! Amraha Arez or Amar apke kuch nahi hai!" Ashaar banged his hand on the table.
"Baap hu mein tum sabka!" Aabis replied.
"Apne Ma se shadi nanu ki dulaut ke liye ki! Divorce bad apne kuch shares ke badle apne bacho ki custody dedi ab yaad aya apko? Maa se ek din ap nahi lare ek din apne hamari fikar nahi ki toh ab kyu?" Ashaar asked.
