Trigger warning for the entire chapter. I am sorry for this it was hard for me to write I understand if its hard for you to read and comment.

The family was waiting in waiting area doctors were ready to give Malihaa's dead body but Ashaar had no idea how to receive it. He was her step son and they needed someone from family.

The police were bugging him too continuously and Aabis was yet to open his eyes. Everything was taking a toll on him and on the other hand Amraha wasn't replying to any of his texts and that waa adding much to his stress.

"Ashaar?" Maria approached him.

"Ji?" Ashaar replied rubbing his face.

"Mein Arzoo ko ghar lejaou? Bachi bhot pareshan horahi ha." She asked softly.

"Mein chahta hu wo yahn se chali jaye leken aunty agar baba ko hosh agaya toh? Wo sab se phele uske milne ki zid krnege! Mere wajah se wo dono dur rehgaye toh? Akhri baar dekhle agar wo baba ko!" Ashaar's eyes filled up.

Maria caressed his face she knows this boy since he was a carefree teenager she has seen it all. All his distress all kind of responsibilities life threw on his young shoulders.

"Wo theek hojange Ashaar! Arzoo is too young to loose him." Maria said sadly.

"Ap Zohaan se contact karein kuch karke please! Amraha needs to be here uska bhi to baap marne wala ha? Akhir kaha lekar chalgaya ha apka beta?" Ashaar asks tiredly.

"Zaamin ne baat krli ha! Ajange wo log! Tum betho mein coffee mangati hu have some and relax okay?" Maria squeezed his shoulder and he nodded.

"Amar? Beta jaou bhaiya ke liye coffee leaou." Maria walked towards Amar.

Amar angrily pocketed his phone and glared at her. He took few bills from her hands with so much attitude and walked away. Maria flinched at his cold eyes.

Ashaar who saw all of this gritted his teeth once again. He never really liked children behaving like this and he has always managed to put a stop to this but today he decided to ignore it he has enough on his plate already.

"Ashaar?" Zaamin approached him.

"Bolo?" Ashaar sighed.

"Funeral arrange krna parega na! Uncle ka ghar police se seize kia hua ha? Kia krna ha?" He asks.

Ashaar grandmother angrily walked towards them and turned Ashaar around.

"Us aurat ka janaza meri beti ke ghar se nahi uthega Ashaar yaad rakhna ye baat!" She snapped.

"Maahad!" Ashaar walked towards the silent boy.

"Ji?" Maahad stood up scared.

"Please tell me tumhari maa ki koi family ha? Koi dur ka rishetadar anyone?" Ashaar asks.

Maahad shook his head with tears.

"Nani thi unki death hue 8 saal hogaye! Uske alawa koi nahi." Maahad said feeling terrible. He was so useless that he can not even afford a funeral for his mother.

"Mere ghar se krelte hai!" Zaamin suggested.

"Ap log kyu karahe ho? Unhone jo kia uske baad bhi?" Maahad asks weeping.

"Ye waqt in batao ka nahi hai! Jo hua wo nahi hona chaiye! Leken ab hum kuch badal to nahi sakte na! Himmat karo thori." Ashaar clapped on his shoulder.

Amar came back with the coffee and wanted to throw it right on Maahad's face but he didn't let his intrusive thought win and walked silently towards his brother.

"Coffee!" He said with the kind of attitude his brother doesn't appreciate. Ashaar tilted his head and glared at him.

He took the cup of coffee from him and held his waist dragging him towards the corner.
