Fynn's POV
I was curious to know her opinion of my apartment. I moved here to study, therefore I lived alone. Despite the apartment's luxurious furnishings, I was unable to see the astonishment in her eyes. I couldn't understand her lack of amazement because I was so accustomed to people staring at my apartment's interior. I was dying of a headache, but I wanted to study her every move and take in her expressions. She spotted me moving as I grasped the coffee table.
She suddenly moved closer to me and used the back of her palm to take my temperature.
"Fynn, you're getting hot."
Her eyes conveyed her concern, and Fynn felt warm. Someone was concerned. Someone observed.
"I believe I will lay down for a bit. Please use the spare room.", Fynn advised.
After giving a nod, Kate told her family that she was safe and with a friend.
Fynn felt the pain and sweat all over his body. He willed himself to sleep, but it was impossible. Kate entered his room as soon as the door opened. She appeared angelic, and he was undoubtedly high on medicines at the time, which is why he was entertaining strange thoughts. She set a cotton cloth and a bowl of cold water on the table next to the bed.
Without saying another word , she put the cold cloth on his forehead. The relief he felt was immense. She continued doing this till some of his temperature was down. After half an hour , she got up to change the water when I wrapped my hand around her wrist and said , "You are the sun, you are constant."
"Go to sleep.", she said softly.
Sleep this time came easily.
