About 10 minutes later everyone was changed into their arsenal training kits and was starting to head outside. I was just about to walk out to the pitches when I noticed Leah was panicking and stressed clearly looking for something. "Hey you ok?" I asked "yeah all good just looking for something." She quickly replied. "You sure you seem and bit panicked." I said. " I lost my bracelet. I can't loose it my Nan gave it to me." Leah said her breathing now quickening. But this point everyone was out on the pitches I'm assuming training had already started. "Why don't we go out to training and I will help you find it after." I said checking the time. Training had started 3 minutes ago. Great I was late to my first session. "Yeah ok sorry I made you late." Leah said very quietly if I didn't listen closely I wouldn't have heard it. "Don't worry about it" I said whilst smiling to her which she returned.
When we got out to the pitches all the girls were in a huddle around what I assumed was Jonas in the middle telling the girls something or maybe a coach. When me and Leah got over we stood behind everyone hoping to not be caught being late. Luckily we didn't as everyone was so busy listening to a coach in the middle telling everyone what we would be working on today, and because it was preseason we was doing fitness testing everyone groaned at the thought of running and not kicking a football at least one this session but I didn't mind it. I was always quite good with running I have good stamina and good pace as well which means I can last a lot longer than everyone else. While everyone was moaning begging to not do fitness testing I was smiling and let out a little cheer. "Why are you cheering all we do it running it's horrible." Leah said confused. "I know and I love running." I replied. "Oh I have a new competitor do I now, well I need to warn you I hold the record for doing the most laps and getting the furthest in the beep test." Leah said confidently. I giggled a bit seeing Leah so confident. "Yeah well then records are about to be broken." I said Laughing. "Game on ephgrave." Leah said whilst warming up.
We warmed up and stretched our muscles and after that we did laps of the field. We was told to just do as many as we can and don't push our self's to hard because of how hot it was today. Whilst running me and Leah were just talking managing to keep at a good pace next to each other. A few laps in people started to get tired and had to sit out. There was only 5 left and that was me, Leah, Katie, Steph and Frida. One by one people started to go until it was just me Katie and Leah left. We must have done at least 7 laps by now and this is when I started to get cramp really bad. "You ok?" Leah said a little bit worried. "Yeah just cramp" I said kind of limping. Katie caught up with us "you alright newbie looked like you were limping from over there." Katie said a bit out of breath. "Yeah just cramp." I said back. "Go sit down and get someone to stretch it out for you don't wanna risk anything." Leah said. "No I'll be fine." I replied, I knew I needed to sit down the cramp was only getting worse and my asthma was starting to play up a bit. "It doesn't look like it mate you're limping badly and struggling to breath cmon." Katie said grabbing my arm and slowing down into a jog and eventually into a slow walk. When we got back to where everyone was sitting down getting drinks my cramp was really bad and I still needed my asthma pump. "Right let me stretch out your leg for you." Leah said as I held my leg up and she started to stretch it. I started to cough and I'm telling you laying down while you need an asthma pump is not a good idea. "You ok? Need a drink?" Leah said. I shook my head. Leah dropped my leg down slowly and helped me up. I went over to where my drink was and tried to find where I put my asthma pump. "Lost something?" I heard an Australian voice say. I turned my head and saw Steph standing behind me. I knew Steph because we played against each other before when I was In Australia and we swapped shirts. "Yeah m-my asthma pu-pump." I said having to stop during my sentences to cough. I put my hands on my knees. I really needed my asthma pump now and this cramp wasn't helping the situation at all.
