Forever?

Dog walks

I woke up the next morning at 9:05 and checked my phone seeing I had a text from Leah that she sent 45 minutes ago. I thought it was strange because Leah was never a morning person and anytime she could stay In bed late she would, thats one thing me and Leah definitely agree about. I checked the text to see:

Leah💞
Hey, was wondering if you
Wanted to spend the day
With me today as we have
A day off? Xx

I smiled at her text and thought about it for a moment.

                                                   Me
                                                     Yeah sure what time
                                                     Were you thinking?x

After a few more text messages we agreed on 11:00 and to just walk her family dog Bella around the park and go to her parents after for lunch. I was nervous to meet Leah's family but I knew how much she wanted me to meet them so I couldn't say no, plus I knew I had to meet them at some point. I had a quick shower and sorted out my hair aswell as choosing a nice but casual outfit. At 10:57 I heard a knock on my door and it was Leah with a very excited looking Bella. "Hey, you ok?" Leah asked me as I slid my shoes on. "I'm good you?" I replied back. "Yeah im good thanks, you not bringing a jumper or anything it's quite cold out there." She said. "No I'll be alright." I said back. "Ok. You ready to go?" She asked. "Yup let's go." I said as I closed and locked my apartment door and we walked down to the bottom floor and decided on going to a close St Albans park which was only 10 minutes or so away.

As we approached the park it started to rain and I knew the comments I was about to get from Leah. "Told you to bring a coat." She said to me. "Well no actually you told me to bring a jumper." I said back. "either way it would've kept you warmer than you are now." She said handing me Bella's lead to which I took abit confused. We kept walking and I was looking for somewhere to hide from the rain. Then I felt Leah wrap her coat around me and I turned to her and said "no Leah keep your coat." "No take it I have my jumper with me." She replied back. " yes but it's your coat it's my fault I didn't bring my own one." I said.  "I'm not taking no for ann answer so you may aswell just put it on now." She said still holding the coat around me. I huffed but agreed and put the coat on and Leah chucked up the hood. We kept walking and eventually found a bench and we let Bella off her lead. Me and Leah talked for about 5 minutes and the rain stopped. "You sure you're ok with meeting my parents you don't have to if you don't want to." Leah said to me calmly. "Yeah I'm sure." I said back smiling to which Leah returned. We held eye contact for a few seconds, I got lost in her blue eyes, eyes that calm me even though im so nervous. We got interrupted by Bella sprinting over to us covered in mud. "Oh my god Bella mum is going to kill you and me." Leah said whilst I just laughed. Me and Leah then both decided it would be best to start heading back to her parents house. On the walk there I held Bella whilst fiddling with my rings in Leah's coat pocket. "You okay?" She asked me but I didn't hear as I was zoned out. "Gracie," Leah said again "hm." I said as I looked at her. "I said are you okay?" Leah said again. "Oh yeah I'm fine." I said taking my hand out my pocket and as I did Leah grabbed my spare hand. "They will love you." She said which comforted me.

Training later and a match tomorrow so I'll be posting again Sunday probably have a good day:)
